This gem has the most awesome name out of any that I've seen. It's intended for paladin tanking, I believe.

This comes from the Reinforced Fel Iron Chest that spawns after killing Vazruden and Nazan in Hellfire Ramparts on Heroic.

I'm a tanking paladin (and JC), and rolled on this gem yesterday. While it's not the better tankadin gem out there, I will definitely socket it on over my Thick Dawnstone, since I'm already over the 500 def rating.

There are better gems out there, though:

This gem only makes sense for socketing into your tankadin's heroic tanking set, where defense isn't so much an issue as mana starvation.

This is, one of, if not THE worst gem in the game. As a tankadin, if you are so overgeared for whatever you're tanking (ie. T6 pally in a heroic) so that you're not taking enough damage and getting mana starved, either a) sub out a piece of tanking gear for SD/healing gear, b) press X and sit down, or c) pull more mobs!

Mp5 has no place on paladin tanking gear. This could *possibly* be useful on a tanking shaman or moonkin (panzerkin), however, as they are gimmick tanks I'd have no idea how they itemise. But in any case, definitely bad for pallies!

It's actually a good tankadin gem, because for the most part, on trash mobs, even on heroics, the heals aren't 100% of our mana, we run out eventually, now on bosses it's nearly infinite as we have constant healing on us. But even on some heroic bosses I oom as a tankadin frequently, and have to use mana pots.

But Defense and Stamina is still better, even for a tankadin.
