I know that many people don't seem to like the purple gem drops, but seriously.. this is a beautiful gem for tanks. Not necessarily the most incredible thing out there, but if you happen to be running the Furnace, you can't beat this as a drop to help upgrade your gear.

I find this gem the most efficient for my tanking gear. I'm a Feral Druid and all i need more is Resilience and Dodge. As a Feral Druid with SoTF i only need 154 extra Defense Rating (instead of 330 Warriors need) to cover all the 5% Crit Chance of level 73 Bosses, and it's easy to do that 154 DR with all the gear out there. so now i'm concentrating myself to increase the Dodge and Resilience. Just to get my hand on this baby :)

5 dodge rating = 0.26422871% dodge at level 70.

Got this in Heroic Bloodfurnace - off the final boss.

A decent gem for a tank, I will probably put this in my wastewalker gloves for tanking purposes(Druid).

Yes, this is not only a tank gem. In PvP all classes got use for dodge and resilece

useless for a tank imo.

any tank tanking a heroic will have 490 + def, which makes them uncritable

thus, resilience is wasted cuz they cant be crit in pve any more
