So it blows away all the old hp/5 trinkets, but I can't think of very many situations where it would really be useful. Might be nice for a solo grinding warlock or warrior.

As a mage, i find many pvp situations where i wish i had 1k more hp, but didn't.
The problem this - such situations are few and far between and pvp shield trinket (https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=25829) works in these situations even better

In 2.1.0 it will retain the use effect but will also have a passive +40stamina making it a VERY good tanking trinket.

As a feral druid aware of the upcoming changes to this trinket I picked it up when it dropped recently for us, but was slightly dismayed to find that you cannot trigger the Use: when in feral forms. Any word on whether this will still be the case in 2.1 would be appreciated.

After the patch, it would appear to be a decent tanking trinket. Does anyone know about how much threat the heal on it will generate, if at all? Great stamina, heal over time, and a bit of extra threat would make it awesome.

As a Feral, when I attempt to use it, I receive the error; "You must be in Tree of Life Form.".

It does work in that 'other' form that I'm sometimes forced to use, but not in any furry.

I sent up a ticket and received confirmation from a GM that it is *not* 'working as intended'. No further information was provided.

Having a second Frenzied Regeneration is going to be a nice bonus on top of the +620 HP.

Would be nice if they change it to be a % of total HP. If it's intended to heal 1300 because they expect most people to be at 10,000 HP, then make it heal 12% of total HP over 12 seconds.

well i can confirm one thing i got it yesterday and did not know about the fact u cant use it in bear form.

so u still cant use it in imo very very bad why should it work for a warrior who can use potions and all the other shit already but for our furry little buts u cant.

just hope blizzard will fix this at some point in any case i waisted a lot of dkp for nothing

Excellent farming trinket for prot warriors if i do say so myself. The little damage you do take is healed right back up with this trinket. Also serves as 400 hp on a trinket slot if you do not have darkmoon card: vengeance (https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=31858) or the netherwing faction reward: Commander's Badge (https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=32864)

This trinket is excellent for any healer in PvP. Perfect for when the healer is silenced, keeps a decent HoT ticking for 357-358.

The HoT effect does not stack with any +healing stats.

I'm in love with this trinket. So many people dont like it but they arnt using it for what its meant for. Demon lock in arenas. 400hp a tick. about 1700 health. In the arena its AWESOME as most fights go for about 2 mins. It doesnt share cooldown with Health stones and I can get about 10k health out of them all up. with 11.5k health in pvp gear this trink rocks!! and in normal wsg/av/ab/eos just constant healing and casting! i love it! I think you'd have to be a moron to pass it up

As people who are going ssc already should know, healing have to stop ~10sec before Nightbane lands, otherwise he might run away to the healers.

Now, with this trinket the MT can pick him down without any problem, since this trinket will aggro him in the exact same way as "normal" heals

This proved to be quite effective for the times you go Nightbane without a hunter for the missdirect at the landing.

And for tanks, this is great in 25man raids, since tanks at this level of PvE already should be immune to crits 'cause of Defense, and its rather important to have loads of hp for the times you dont manage to avoid the damage, since the bosses hits rather hard when they manage to land one.

This is a very nice trinket for the Arena's as well since you dont have the ability to use potions/food in there. combine it with a Healthstone from a warlock and Last Stand if you are a warrior and it should keep you going for a while!

Got it last night, dropped 2 times from 2 consequent mobs. Great trinket for Healers, especially Shamans in Arena. 400 Health plus a 12 sec HoT on a 2 min cd, for the times I am spell locked to death (witch is almost always)...

Usually as a tank i combine an avoidance/mitigation trinket and a +stam trinket. 40 stam + healing is really usefull

This is a cool item since it doesn't share cooldowns with an avoidance trinket like the Moroes lucky pocketwatch https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=28528 or the Scarab of displacement https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=30629. The Scarab has a 3 minute CD which means they might not be available at the same time. The pocketwatch however, is 2 mins just like the spyglass. A simple macros combining their effects makes the most out of them.

People who think that this doesn't heal enough health to make a difference are crazy. When things are dire and your poppin' trinkets,shield wall, last stand, nightmare seed, etc, every little bit helps. =)

The HoT effect from this trinket is affected by talents and abilities that increase healing (such as priest's focused will and warlock fel armor). I have this on my priest and it's fantastic in arenas when I'm silenced or can't afford to cast a spell with a cast-time. It's excellent against melee when I can get a renew, ProM, shield, and pop this trinket.

clearing the trash to Lurker last night we had THREE drop, in the space of a few minutes... at least some of our more PvP orientated played got a little boost to survivability as only one off tank wanted it!

As a lock tanking Leo this is a nice little STA boost to get you over the boundary to being able to have another Chaos Blast stacked on you and survive the next hit.
I also use it for Archimonde where more health = more win.

Other than that it's pretty much '/roll for PvP'

Really surprised no one else has brought this up, however this trinket rocks in the Hex Lord fight in ZA. Most times dps has to change out for a little extra stam to survive the Spirit Bolts. This one is replacing the Violet Eye pendent for me, as I can use it to heal during spirit bolts as well.

I can't understand why so many are putting this trinket down.

The HoT is amazing for a healer on a fight that needs alot of healing. If you haven't got time to heal yourself pop the trinket and keep the tanks up, healing yourself the rest with a healthstone or heal when you have the time.

That isn't even taking the extra 400 health it provides.

Yes, this trinket is better than people say it is. +40 Stamina is alot, and the healing is just a slight bonus to that. It is farmable with a pug, a reasonable one.

Don't people see the 40 stamina on this tinket? + def talent and kings thats 460 HP... The healing is not that good no.. But its useble when you know you will be taking massive dmg.. and with other hots its a nice enough boost...

I think it'd make a fairly good Arena trinket and I don't know why everyone is cryin about its uselessness.

Certainly can't hurt to have another bit o' stamina as a SL/SL warlock... and between Siphon/Drain and this survivability is kicked up a proverbial notch.

I think I'd use this whenever my healer is interrupted in some form to buy me a lil bit of time. And in arena, seconds can make the difference.

<wonders if it is affected by Mortal Strike and Rogue poisons>

1000 damage? that's anywhere between 1/8th to 1/28th your health, depending on class and animal form. While druids don't get anything out of it in bear form, it is a trinket so they can use it unlike a potion. Paladins might get a lot out of it since they have a talent that decreases damage taken by 50% when under 10% health... that effectively makes this a 2000 damage healing potion.

It might benefit from +healing gear, and if it does a priest could use it.

I'm not sure that I'd use a trinket slot for a potion though. Does anyone know what this drops off of?

I'd go for this as a lock when I see it drop. Both great for PvP and PvE. Seems nice for a PvP Shadow priest as well.

It seems like you can target someone else with this trinket, and if +healing works with it (and tree of life), it might be worth it as an added heal to the tank. The range is also farther then your healing spells can go, so if your tank gets out of range, you can proc this on em to help.

Just got this. it does not work in bear or cat form, get the "Must be in Tree of Life Form" popped up!
GM confirmed this is a bug thats being worked on.
Works when i'm in caster tho, and i asume it works in tree of life.. ;)

just got it, bidded on it for arena lol! im a tank but i've seen better trinkets out there. imo, get gnomeregan auto blocker over this if u want a tanking trinket. much better effect. but this trinket is goddamn useful for arena. +40 stamina and that heal is wicked if ur healer is being cc-ed

well as a pally i see it as perfect to get that extra health needed when you bubble (12 sec bubble, 12 sec hot... coincidence i think not) while still able to dps, so u could judge sol, cast (dps seal of choice), pop this, bubble, heal while you do dmg not too bad i guess

This trinket is AWESOME. Think of it as 400hp minimum from the stamina. Which alone is quite good - But the heal of 1300hp is imba even if it is over time. If you pop it twice in an arena fight with some decent timing thats like 2600hp of healing. To a none healing class, thats like 3k life or 300 stamina just from this one trinket. The only downside is that you will likely be healed after you have used it in 3v3 and 5v5. Best deployed in x2 dps teams for 2v2 arena. Spriest + lock teams preferably.

I wouldn't mind this trinket for my mage. It would be excellent for the stamina gear needed while tanking the Fire Mage in the Maulgar fight in Gruul's Lair. You need to pop out at least 10k hp unbuffed, and this is sure to help out a lot, giving you the choice to use some of your normal DPS-gear.

Then again, the trinket drops in SSC, and by the time you get it, you'll most likely have Gruul's Lair on farming status anyway. But still...

Is the hot effect purgable in arena? If not, OMFG this thing is unreeeeal for alot of those ff'ed-constantly classes in arena. This thing paired with the new badge trinkets in 2.3 has the possibility for some rediculous survivability. Unless they share the same cd....hmm...hope not.

Honestly if you used this over a medallion of the horde/Alliance you're an idiot. Getting out of CC with 20 resilience is much more important then 1300 as a heal over time. You can't even pop trinkets other then the medallion when you're stunned.

In case anyone was wondering, the healing coefficient is roughly 5.5%. With 2324 healing, it ticked for 357 for a total of 1428.
