The best way to get faction is to run hell fire ramparts/blood furnace until 3000/6000, then start doing quests, this should get you close to revered and level 62 at least. at level 68 run the shattered halls for the remaining 6000 or less reputation. alliance only horde have thrallmar(sp?) rep

I'm level 64 and I'm revered, have the key but can't switch the difficultly. Do I have to be level 70?
When I right-click ony my portrtait there isn't the difficulty-selection anymore (before TBC's release there was a selection, tho'it didn't work of course...).

well as far as I have seen, just click the hotkey i then choose heroic instance on the menu for the new LFG system.

are you sure that you only have to be 3000/6000 then you can quest to still get revered?

farming from Revered to Exaulted could get boring with doing Shattered Halls again and again, but doing Heroic BF and Ramparts will get you alot of rep faster, and it's more fun -better drops-

as of Patch 2.3.0 only requires Honored for this Key, allowing entrance into Heroic Shattered Halls, Ramparts and Blood Furnace. Instances with Higher droprates, higher lvl mobs, and bosses drop Badges which can be used to buy Primal Nether and other epic rewards for 70 =]

Looks like my 69 Twink will be getting his Epic goggles with that nether after all =D

This new system in 2.3 can be both a good thing and bad thing. You do not have to farm a single instance for rep over and over to get badges(I know SV and SL was annoying). It will also be much easier to find a full group.
The bad part about this however will be that there will be many more failed attempts because they do not have to be good at playing their class.

since last patch i cant even reach 1st boss.. there r a lot of noobs all in greens in heroics... blizzard is drunk

Flamewrought Key is required to unlock all Hellfire Ramparts instances heroic mode.
Quartermaster Urgronn is the Thrallmar intendant and cant be foind within Thrallmar quest hub at 54.90 37.92 position.
Quartermaster sells multiple blue / epic gear, recipes, ammo and much more, Flamewrought Key is also sold by him.
