About as fast an MS weapon as I'd want, but oh so very nice. The sockets are especially nice on it. Probably the equal of the second tier BS axe.

Got myself one 2 days ago. I went 2-hand fury with it and its working out fantastic. With flurry, it brought its speed to a 2.62 two-hand. Talent build is here: https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/talent=pVMxdhioZE0zVMxkizb

Sockets I put in were two Smooth Dawnstone gems (https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=24048), and a Sovereign Nightseye (https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=24054). The enchant I am using is Savagery for +70 AP. Crusader isn't the best choice I find at level 70 because of its drastically lowered proc-rate.

Reason I didn't pick up MS is because I find Mortal Strike benefits a lot more from 3.60+ speed weapons for their higher damage range, whereas 3.00 - 3.50 speed weapons have a huge advantage with flurry.

Drops from Doomwalker outside Black Temple, a 40-man outdoor raidboss.
To now 100 Ap for Warriors, gem it up with Smooth Ornate Dawnstone (https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=28119) and 2 Bold Crimson Spinel (https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=32193) And you'd have yourself a hella good 2h Axe with 40 Crit rating, 70 strength, massive dps and an extra 4 2h weapon skill gem bonus!!!

An by the time you'd be doing doomwalker you would be close to Black Temple for your Bold Crimson Spinel anyways.

Don't be fooled by it's relatively low DPS, with epic gems this axe is better than Glaive of the Pit, Gronn Lords, tier 2 smithing weapons and is comparable to Season 1 gladiator weapons and Gorehowl.

The next true upgrade to this weapon would be The World Breaker or S2 Gladiator/Tier 3 smithing.

You can say "This is a hunter's weapon" for laughs, but if you mean it people WILL think you only have half a brain.

So... Considering a lot of hunters only have half a brain this can be called a hunter's weapon

Retri paladins can use this also. Nice high and low dmg, nice crit and gem to customize it. With the new SoC this is quite powerful for us palas. Have fun farming this guy and congrats to those that have it

Soooweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet. I just got this last night. The guild down'd Doom Lord Kazzak and Doomwalker. I got the ring from DLK, and this little guy from Doomwalker of course. Socket it with Str and Crit gems and it's pretty nice.

Warriors and Retribution Paladins should have equal rights for first dibs on this.

Enhancement Shamans, if they PvE Raid, should learn that dual wielding is far better for PvE, whereas Huge Weapons(tm) are better for PvP.

If you're raiding, then PvE > PvP, as far as priorities go.

Therefore, Warriors and Ret Pallies.
If they don't want it, hit a Shammy.

guys, if you think this weapon is good for your class, use the new armory upgrade thing tool. it allows you to search out items good for your class and stuff, but you must learn to use the filters on it correctly (for example you can choose whether you are melee dps or ranged dps or healer or caster or tank or whatever)

personally i agree i have a hunter and a warrior both 70. and for what this axe has on it woah this is big time arms axe.

hunters come on man there is way better axes then this. you dont need str. cause if you have a really sweet ranged wepon use it. hunters need mroe crit chance then base dmg. cause the base dmg from this wepon dosnt get confered to your ranged att pwr.

get a wepon that has huge crit rating. if you cant then agi.
i made the lionheart blade for my huner. i know i know, its not a hutner weapon reallly eitehr. but i made it for pvp. resist of fear 5% and the agi is decent to with a +35 agi chant makes it really nice. tho still better weapons for a hunter.

Simple solution to hunters wanting to roll on weapons that could be used by melee class, Set loot master, call classes allowed to roll, if Hunter has a problem with it, boot em and grab one of the million hunters sitting in arena all day waiting for somone to accept them into a raid. Hunters are very replaceable class in raids. There is enough gear alloted for hunters out there. This is a warrior's weapon.... 2nd at best windfury shamen/ret pally. (i'd dual wield a shammy)
