Anyone with a beta account want to figure out where you land?

My guess would be that this comes from Area 52, but where does it take you!

Just shoots you into the air and give you a slowfall buff. Warning, if you launch near an enemy in Area 52, you aggro the guards as it does a small AOE attack.

The X-52 Rocket Helmet's AOE effect will no longer aggro mobs.

30 minute cooldown.

Activating this helmet causes a blast-wave type effect called "To Infinity and Above" that does 100 dmg to nearby mobs/players, and shoots you up in the air. You float down slowly so you won't damage yourself.

Great novelty item, but don't use it in a town! The blast can aggro the guards and they will net you and kill you.

This helm is a great item to have to play with. When ganked or being chased by that pesky undead rouge or that orc warrior ... Nova them or sheep them and start running. When your combat flag is lifted pop on the hat and take to the skies. he will look at you and wait but while your coming down pop invisi and when you land beline to the nearest cover. great Novelty item .. never leave my bag. it will be there right next to my hydrocane.

It should be noted that you shoot straight up. Even if you are running or falling at an angle, you have no control at which angle you fly up and fall at.

Gives you a buff called 'Parachute' which will slow your fall for about 12 seconds from my experience. However, it will also give you another buff called 'To Infinity and Beyond' that will take away 50% of your health over 3 ticks. I don't know about you guys, but getting half-killed by a Toy Story reference killed me on the inside.

This helm can be replaced, if deleted to save on bag/bank space. Simply visit the quest giver for another - he will mention they don't grow on trees!

For Engineers with their roflcopter mounts, entertain your friends by having this helmet equipped and hitting this macro occasionally. Take note that the Parachute effect only works to the height you blasted off from, so if you're too high up you might still kill yourself.

Can you use this while running to get shoved forward and up and float down a distance away? Would be insane to run with the flag in WSG off the roof over MT and blast yourself 1/2 across the field :D

Also, anyone know if you can dmg horde in pvp with this item? Speed boot into the FR and BOOM! all of em 1/2 hp. Would be sexy imo XD.

After using it, there is some kind of firenova on the ground and you will be kicked very high into the air.

Weird... When I used this for the first time right when I got it I was blown upward and received 1k damage each tick for a total of 3 ticks. The third one killed me(wasn't at full health). =( I looked at the combat log and it said "Name suffered 1329 fire damage from Name's Infinity and Above(x3)"

does 3 waves of 100 fire damage to all mobs around you and kicks you into air with a safe fall.

Fun as hell, and as a hunter (or warlock, or anything else with lots of instantly useable ranged abilities) you can use it to shoot in the air and put down the annoying Hordeling/Ally who's got 10% hp and is -just- floating out of range from the ground.

Works like a charm I say :)

This helmet is great :D You have to do the Fel Reaver quest near Area 52. Recommend 3 members in the party. You take control of a smaller Fel Reaver, and use it to kill a giant one. It is possible to heal(with a healer, not it's own skill)the one you control, but only a little at a time.

Once you kill the large Fel Reaver, named Negatron, turn in the quest right there,and get the follow up. Easy walk to Area 52, that's where you get the helmet. I love it.

This thing throws you into the air, about 100 yards or something, then you slowly fall down again.
Can not be used in combat and does a little AoE damage 100 dmg/sec around the launch area.
Well, it's fun, i like it, but too long CD, thank you blizzard for 30 minutes CD. great idea >_>
It CAN be used in mid-air, so if you accidentaly fall down somewhere and you're lucky enough to have this thing on, use it just before you hit the ground, and slowly fall down and avoid death :)

note to self do not dismount in mid air then use helmet...15 seconds of slow fall is not enough

Most fun item in the game, thus far. I just stroll through Honor Hold and then TAKE OFF.

After all, the new level 60s haven't seen anything like it.

I find this a very effective tool to get rid of the farming competition in your own faction. When u see them low on health when engaging some mobs just wear the helm and activate it right next to them. You can kill the person as the aoe damage it deals does not discriminate.

Has anyone else noticed the massive damage this helmet does to you since the patch? I used it and it did 1000 hps damage before I died up in the sky. I was unable to res because I was too high to reach.

OK, heres a hint - dont be a smart ar*e putz like me and stand under the rocket in area 52 while you light the fuse on this.

10 / 10 for style, but -2100 damage, headache, and a repair bill too.

Blizz did NOT make the rocket a picsell-only object, you can NOT fly through it.
LOL on me.
