Excellent tanking chestpiece for warriors. It is, however, rendered somewhat obsolete by https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=34939

Decide which you value more before taking this item: dkp or badges. Personally, I took this one, seeing as i'm rather low on hit rating at the moment.

But i'll probably buy the chestplate too ;)

From what I understand this drops off of the 4th boss in Hyjal. Azgalor...looks to be dragonkin. What is it with Blizzards love of Ogres and Dragonkin?

Even though im a fury warrior, this would really help me with gettin hits instead of misses. any other fury speced warrior will agree that u need armor that gives you hit rating to hit really good.

panzar thar = 51 + 12 + 12 + 12 = 87 stam

but that has some huge dodge rating. and isnt 51 dodge rating more than 3%?

Last time I read up on dodge rating, every 18 dodge rating gives 1% actual dodge. So actually 51/18 = 2.83% dodge.

Yes, the Panz that drops of Nightbane has more stam, but it's really not close to the quality of this chest.

You gain about 300 armor, solid addition of defense, 51 dodge (mind boggling) and the very underrated 34 hit.

If you take a look at the BT tanking pieces, they're not giving you HUGE additions to stam but adding in many cases "to hit" to the items.

These mobs in BT and beyond (Sunwell)are harder to hit and a miss on a random mob for an OT could mean the death of a raid member or a string of misses coupled with a crit for an MT may cause an aggro pull.

I didn't get a chance to get my Tier 5 chest, I went from the Nightbane chest to this and I'm happy with it. Tier 5 has some good things about it, but I'd say all and all almost a side grade. If you have either one, you're not going to spend your DKP on getting the other chestpiece as it isn't worth it as both in Tier 5ish quality.
