This libram is unfortunately extremely underpowered for a ilvl106 item.

It roughly adds up to about 180 extra damage over a minute, mitigated by armor, dodge, miss, and parry rates.

Until its buffed, I'll keep it in my bank.. till then I'll continue to use https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=24386. Because 100 average healing over 10 seconds is far better then a tiny 18 damage dealt.

I think it works with spelldmg at all, never mind if it stacks or not.
As I understand it, CS itself is physical and not holy.

Wouldn't you get more overall dps on SoC procs and judgements using either

18 damage every 10 secs FTL :( IMHO. It gets my vote for WoW sucker trap of the year.

With the cooldown on Crusader Strike being reduced to 6 seconds in Patch 2.3, this item will be a bit better.

Well, I would guess 6 dps if you use Crusader Strike every 6 seconds like you should.

Here is the math:

36.3*14/3.3=144AP (3.3 is the normalized weapon speed) just for Crusader Strike.

Not too bad, but the Libram of Divine Judgement (if you use Command) or the BF Heroic Librams are better.

Perhaps you should try that math again, 18 damage to crusader strike is equal to 45 more spell damage (45 * 0.4 = 18).

ok 18 bonus damage per CS. CS has a 10 second cooldown, crits for double damage I believe.

18 damage/10 seconds = 1.8 dps increase assuming you use CS every 10 seconds. Bottom line: 1.8*(1+crit%) extra dps. Assuming 30% melee crit you'll get an extra 2.34 dps from this item. Woot?

Compare to Libram of Avengement which increases your crit rate by roughly 2.3% for 5 seconds out of every 8-10 (whatever your judgement cooldown is after talents). Which for a ret build would increase total dps by 2.3% and help keep vengeance procced.

Yeah I think this libram just got owned.

Not a fan of this as a retribution spec: the Libram of Zeal beats this. *IF* I can get a Libram of Avengement definately use it over anything, but like an above poster said it's damned hard to get into a heroic without being a *traditional* raid spec.

And yes, Zeal's not very hard to get either. It's rewarded from PvP, which is what Ret's really there for.

This item will become better come patch 2.3 with the shorter cooldown crusader strikes. Assuming they don't nerf it, which they might.
