Pick up the quest in Wildhammer stronghold (alliance) or Shadowmoon village(horde) called Teron Gorefiend - Lore and Legend https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/quest=10644

Do the three quests from Ancient Shadowmoon Spirit https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/npc=21797 and the event that follows when you turn it in.

Report back to your original questgiver, he'll yell at you a bit and give you the helm :P

It is very interesting, from reading the item tooltip, you would expect that the socket bonus isn't +healing, but from experimentation with my own helment, I can tell you that it is.

Very nice +5 healing extra just for socketing it up.

Its very nice head for balance druids.From my own experience i can say that its little better than T4 head(https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=29093).Same crit%,similar spell dmg.Druidic helmet got 4mp5 whats very helpfull.And hey,this head looks alot better than T4 imo:D

WIth good gems the druidic helmet of second sight can be equal but why should you waste 100g on gems if you can just get a helm with the same statistics from another quest.

I am currently wearing this helm, and I can confirm that the socket bonus does add +5 Healing even though the description doesn't say it.

Despite being a Paladin, I took this hate over the Plate one or the Mail ones, simply for the Antlers. The mail healing version has the exact same stats (excluding higher armor), but is severely lacking in in Antlers.

This is from a big quest line in shadowmoon valley. Starts with a quest about killing ghosts. Can't recall what the quest is called though.

Probably the best balance helm available short of malorne and malorne really only wins out because of the metagem slot. Looks quite cool too, dark blue colored stormrage.

Chief Apothecary Hildagard in Shadowmoon Village Gives A Chain quest that starts as the second step...The last part he tells you to talk to a person to start the Divination quests, do all 3 then play as him and defeat a human, go to shadowmoon village AND GET DA HELMET!

Okay I have checked all of the guys that are stated here that start quest chains to get this peice of armor and yeah.. nothing. Each quest only has a money reward, no armor or trinkets.. nothing.
So.. where in the hell do you get this lovely helmet!

tbh used this for a fair while, it's a quality item.
i eventually replaced it with s1 helm as i realised that even though it's a pvp piece the stats were better overall.
but then like 2 days later got t4 helm so yah.
def worth getting but.

imo the moonkin headdress is still better bet for balance druids

lol ive been using this for 8 lvls cause it is so hard to replace

need more crits need more life need more damage need more mana

i need more life and more mana then this can give even with uber sockets then what - still not as good

So what's the advantage of this other than being able to help someone later who is running the same quest line? The helm is nice, just wondering what good seeing the ghost world is. Seems like it'd make you catch aggro from the horsemen if you weren't paying attn, eg, which is actually a bad thing. ;^)
