This neck is a solid upgrade for any caster at that level. I had it drop twice - once for each of my casters. Both times I just equipped it - blues around that level aren't really that desired. It probably won't AH that well.

A quite similar upgrade comes from Sethekk Halls: Torc of the Sethekk Prophet. You do lose 2 spell crit rating, but the int gives you more crit than you lose, not to mention the extra mana and tiny bit of extra mana regen.

dropped from the starving bog lords south of zebra'jin that walk across the road.
co-ords 27,63 while grinding primal lifes 3.33am ^^ was with a mate so he stole it as i was getting greens for d/e lol GL on finding it

granted, if your +dmg or crit chance is really low, this item could benefit you.

but without stam+intell/spirit i don't find this item very useful. unless you have a ton of Stam and Intell, i'd just auction this to someone who can get better use from it.

Got this on my mage for only 20g, still only around 18% ccrit with spells, 25 with fire, but that will change soon.

lol just dropped for me. just got to 62 nd headed to Terrokar. First mob i killed and it dropped this so i'll have a few extra coins to spend once i sell.

Bought mine for 10g
Affliction(54)/Destruction(7) Warlock.
Yes, DoTs can't crit but the thing is I DoT things up, with Corruption, Curse of Agony, Siphon Life, Unstable Affliction but then I cast Immolate, thats a cast so that can crit then it DoTs and the after that I'm casting Incinerate which bonuses when you've already cast Immolate which also helps to get an even bigger crit possible on that and then add to that the chance for an instant cast Shadow Bolt that works really well.

I'd say it works well if you're a Lock.

it's a mage amulet i've got it, it's useful bieng at frost mage so i can crit more often and harder

Crimson Pendant of Clarity is better. Ss an arcane mage i get 15% more intellect and 25% my intellect goes towards spell damage, also the mana regen is awesome... the +crit is unreliable in a short fight.

i dont know what you guys are talking about, this sells for around 75g each on my server, its a rare world drop! Just like Staff of Jordan , and other rare items.
