Afraid it isn't mate. At least that's how it was on the PTR, when I checked it. Most Kara-ish gear has been upgraded to make up for the nerf of consumables...

What in the world (of warcraft) is a lvl 50 flask doing in as an exalted rep formula for lvl 70 instances? Flask of Fortification is SO much better and I have had it for months before I got enough rep to get this. I don't get it ...

This recipe is BoE. The only requirement for learning it is 300 alchemy - there is no faction, class, race nor rep requirement. Pity about the pot nerf.

This flask is way cool, just got it out of BRS and it's a pain to get 10 stonescales, but worse trying to get a black lotus... cant buy it... so it lets me set whatever price i want on these things...

if you think about it, take your hp now and add 1200 to it, for 2 hours! People sell this in like 15 to 30 minutes on the AH for around 300 gold, its a real good money maker, and im sure the person that bought it sells the potions for alot. You need to think about it for a minute and not just say "it sucks".

there is more than 3 places to get black lotus... you can find 2 at a time in the pvp arena in the middle of dire maul when they spawn. theres also one that spawns in the bottom left corner of eastern plagulands.. i dont have this recipe yet but i have 20+ black lotus.. ther not that hard to find.. the only gay part is wandering around boring areas to get all that gromsblood

There is a Lab in Black Wing Lair. So no need to waste your time doing scho. That is assuming your raid group can make it to the room. Have to kill around 4-5 bosses to get there. But once you get in a decent guild you can pretty much make these all you want.

well i know guilds who uses about 5 or 6 in BWL a week it's not that hard if u have everyone wither gathering herbs or fishing for the eels i can collect enough gromsblood alone to make 3 flasks and if i bring about 5 others to fish u can get enough to make um in about 2 hours

Since we're doing BWL guildwise (solo is kinda hard ;)), and we need the flasks for certain bosses, it's no more then logical we get the mats as a guild effort :)

Not really a tip for the non-BWL player but an interesting thing to note for the future if your guild is heading there.

After you clear up to the Alchemy Lab itself you can enter by yourself anytime to go make Flasks at your own leisure. Most guilds clear BWL on Fri and Sat, that leaves the time from around Fri or so until Server Maintenance to make all the Flasks your heart desires, without the hell of Scholo.

as u said u were with 9ppl from the same guild they probably let u join them cause they were probably looking for that a long time ago and i think if i was with my guild there and only one guy out of it then i would take it to my guild cause u can't call it a pug if 9 members r guildies its more like a group from a guild and a tag along

the two best ways to make money from alchemy on my server are(detheroc):

3rd
major healing pots
5-10g
mats are like 10g for 4 stacks

2nd best way:
Flask of titans: (the recipe cost like 700g so good luck getting it to drop)
70-90g a piece, mats for it cost like 60g, not to many farmers on my server

1st
Major mana pots
13-20g a stack
mats cost like 16g to make 4 stacks

60g-16=44g makeing 44g for sitting around buying mats and makeing em into things

This dropped of Drakk last night, we had already rolled on all the blues so almost everybody hearthed, I stayed around to look around. This came up and i knew what it was becasue i use it in my titanic leggings plan. I had not got a single item the entire raid (lousy rolls) i rolled a 96 and got this against 3 rollers (no one else knew what it was). It sold in less than 8 hours for 1150g. Not a bad night all in all.

This potion is amazing, but it took way too much to get.
I ran UBRS a total of 121 times with the sole purpose of getting this potion. I didn't see it drop once.

On run 122, I was master looter and it dropped. I know not whether any other alchemists were in the group, for I just waited until everyone ported out (i'm a mage, so I make the portal) and then snagged it. I'm sorry, but I was not going to risk losing it the one time it dropped.

I just got it a couple of hours ago, i'm alchemist but i dont know if i should learn it or sell it, i will probably put it in AH for 2000g to try if there is some crazy guild who want to empty their guild bank for this one, if not, i will learn and craft some pots to sell them :))

Today i sold the recipe for 100g, considering that the flask will be easy to get once i hit 60-70. just a heads up guys. It sold in 4 mins flat. With mount riding skill costing 700 somthing gold. its a quick start. -afx

dropped of drak the other night along with dreadmist robe, i need rolled dreaedmist and grolled the recipe, won the recipe sold on AH last night fo 400g.

Really didn't think anyone needed this recipe anymore, but I gues I was wrong. running some Blood elf guildies thru UBRS and this dropped off Drakk, I ended up winning. I'm like shoot "prolly noone wants this anymore". but I put it up for 900g on the AH (Khadgar server) for kicks. Sold within a few hours to my surprise.

Guess up and coming guilds and their Alchies still have a need for the recipe even in TBC , so if you're lucky enough to get it, don't sell yourself short.

I see is is sold by the Sha'tar at exalted. It doesn't appear to have a BOP status on it...can anyone confirm? I'd like to buy this for one of my alts.

Edit: I noticed you have to be exalted to use the recipe...darnit.

this thing freakin blows now, wasnt it +2k HP at one point? thnks for flask nerfs bliz, looks like only a handfull of guilds on all servers will ever get passed BT (not as if this particular flask has anything to do with 70 raid progress but i mean flask nerfs in general).
