On my server (Trollbane EU), this goes out for minimum 30g a stack, casters love it.

Preferably farm it while doing the daily cooking quest Demon-Broiled Surprise & the daily SSO quest Gaining the Advantage (if you're a skinner)

I found that Alliance can buy it at the vendor, and Horde has to do a little quest in Mok'Nathal Village, starting at NPC Matron Varah, the Innkeeper, 76,60.

You can get the equivalent recipe for Blackened Basilisk in Terokkar Forest...

you can buy this recipe at Toshley's Station in Blades Edge Mountain from Sassa Weldwell, general trader at 61.68

My girlfriend bringed up about 150 of that meat in 3 days while farming scales for her crafted moonkin set. Drop rate is pretty good and nobody farm it on Lightning's Blade, making them easier to farm than basilisk meat.
Finally, in date of 19/07/2007, i'm Alliance and bought that receipe at Toshley's Station in Blade's Edge Mountain, just at the enter of the inn, can't miss the vendor.
Meat drops from the mobs as listed on thottbot.

Hope this could help some people, we grind all kind of meat for our raids, it's usefull.

i am wondering now , they have made a vendor for the alliance to get the crunchy serpent recipe but what if a horde has sold the recipe ? there is no vendor for the horde? seems kind of unfair

Horde - crunchy serpent (approx 3 gold) and mok'nathal short ribs (approx 2 gold 70 silver)recipes can be purchased from Xerintha Ravenoak located at approx 62:40 Evergrove in blade's edge mountain
