This was very easy to farm and along with the other two "Fel" recipes in Shadow Moon valley, took me about an hour total.

It's a random drop off of the mobs that are listed. Posting how many kills it took you doesn't help for anyone, so please stop.

I just got REALLY luck and had two of these drop from Deathforge Guardians, within 10 minute of each other. Of the pally and me in the group I was the only alchy and am about to vendor the extra one. Though the drop rate is .3% it's most likely much higher seeing as you need an alchemist in the group for it to drop.

Just an idea a guildy gave me:

This may be quite useful on Maiden fight or a similar fight in melee where your health is being drained by constant aoe and healers are busy.

Probably most useful for rogues.
This gives more health than Super Healing Potions (They only give 1500-2500) and over a period of time. So can be used a little later in the fight to offset constant damage.
It can be completely re-compensated by using Elixir of Mastery which is +15 All Stats.
It can help with threat management as your dps is slightly lower aswell.

Dropped for me from a deathforge guardian lvl69 in Shadowmoon Valley.
lol it's 0.3% drop rate on it so i guess I was lucky.
even more lucky cuz i'm an alchemist xD
......and just landed there to pick up a herb and needed to put out the misery of the guardian that patrolled next to the herb....and there it was in hes loot..... ^^

While the loot tables only list the Guardians and the Imps as those who drop the pattern, it should be noted that the Tinkerers drop them as well.

I was killing guardians for around an hour, then killed a pair of tinkerers and got this recipe.

Don't focus just on the guardians. :)

I farmed two of the three fel recipes in 20 minutes, and have been farming this one for over 5 hours. Slaughtered Imps, Guardians, Tinkerers, Smiths and anything else in and above the Deathforge. Not sure if the recipe doesn't drop if you're on a quest to kill them... or something...

When I first started farming this I had the quest Minions of the Shadow Council, farmed for 5 hours with no drop. Then I turned that in, picked up The Summoning Chamber, farmed for an hour and no drops. Turned that in and picked up Bring Down the Warbringer! and the recipe dropped off my first imp kill. Not sure if this is coincedince or just my horrlble luck, but thought it was worth noting.

This recipe dropped for me after I killed one Deathforge Guardian. I wasn't farming for the recipe, I just happened to be exploring at the time, and this guy got in my way.

I can't imagine why you would ever want to use this potion. The -15 to all stats for 15 minutes is pretty crappy for the 3200 regeneration of health over 24 seconds.

Maybe to take the load off of the healers for a big boss fight as a tank or something, but I think I would rather bank on having good healers..lol.

Well at any rate, if someone wants to use this potion. Message Ewormafive on stormrage.

i finally found this after 5 hours of solid killing and it droped from a deathforge gaurdian in the end. no problems looting BTW :)

This drops all the time from the guys at teh Deathforge in Shadowmoon Valley. I've seen it drop 3 times now.

I had the same problem with looting potions recipee, i solved this by joining a friend in group, and looted again. this i did with both the regeneration, and the fel strength potion.

I personally find this very useful, -15 to all stats ain't anything considering most claasses only use 2 of the stats anyways, and if you are an alchemist, the alchemist stone negates that effect and makes it go from 400 health every 3 seconds to 560 health every 3 seconds. your bandage saves you, no? it is 425 per tick and you can;t get hit, this you can get hit and it still goes, and way way useful for mages while aoeing, less strain on the healers it is like an extra renew. far from useless.

the fel mana potion is great for hunters regen,and the drop in stats with the regeneration potion can be countered with an elixir of mastery which is on a diff cooldown,
oh and the point of these pots are,its guaranteed.

this truly is a useful potion anybody who says otherwise hasnt done much in the game

its a garenteed amount of health and if u are above level 10 the minus 15 to your stats shouldnt do much at all to your play

im a rogue and about 5 seconds in the maiden fight (karazahn) i drink this and my health stays max for 24 seconds, and unlike bandages i can attack while this is going on

its the BEST healing potion available because (unless ur a tank) you wont be hit very often very hard no matter where u are (also if ur health goes low many times a healer gives a spot heal and wastes ur normal potion and/or their mana)

If you don't have pallies removing your garrote this can lighten the load on the healers by basically countering it for 24 sec.

A Deathfore Guardian in Shadowmoon Valley dropped this a few minutes ago - as a 375 skilled Alchemist - sweetness ! This is and the Fel Mana Potion recipe I got last night made the last 2 days in SMV really productive !

This just dropped for me after a few kills doing the quest here. Its terrible. Who would use this? 3200 hp over 24 seconds, with -15 to all attributes for 15 minutes?

to the dude saying that this pot pwns adn stuff.. Why don't u rather just drink a normal super health potion u know it might crit and give you more hp without losing 15 attributes for 15min

got it after about 1 1/2 hours grinding on a 65 priest, droped off a Deathforge Imp.

Well just got this one after about an hour and 3 deaths, but im a S.priest and when you get like groups of 3 to tag team ya for more then 12 mobs in a grind its hard to survive even with the mad alchs and heals and bubbles. But thew mana one dropped off very first kill for me before i did this one so it seems to average out about 30 min for fel recipe.

Farmed Deathforge for about 30-40 minutes before it dropped off of a Deathforge Guardian.

The only reason I even farmed for this was just to have everything I can in Alchemy, even if I don't need it. Personally, I think that all of these Fel Potions are crap. They all have bad side effects and I can't figure out why anyone would want to actually use these potions. JM2CW
