Essentially 120 ap for fury warriors and rogues in sustained combat situations. For a fury warrior with impale, that is an additional 118.8 dmg on a bloodthirst or victory rush crit (before armor mitigation). Not too bad, but the Wrath card paired with one of the chance-on-crit effect trinkets would probably come out on top.

Wow, this is an amazing trinket for a imp scorch fire mage. We already use scorch to build up a debuff on our targets, this only increases that effect.

Definatley going to try and get an ace asap once the patch drops.

Also, it is primarilly a raiding DPS trinket, as the fact that you have to stack the buff to 10 before you get the full effect is something that will rarley happen in PvP, especially arenas.

Though i wouldn't mind it pvp either, id rather have a trinket that just added (at least)+120 for a short period of time, versus only 80 over a long period.

mh. one question about it:

does this every time refresh the 10 sec timer when i deal dmg? even if i have 20 stacks up to me? or does the duration expire if the 20 stacks are up and after that restacking again?

if it would refresh all the time and not expiring, it would be a superior raid-trinket for a rogue, because the 20 stacks are up very fast, and then this is kinda passive-120ap-trinket. together with dragonspine trophy it would be really amazing. passive trinkets > on-use-trinkets, imo.

so does anyone know the correct functionality of this aura?

does it mean it'll stack up to 80 spell dmg and the moment the 10s is over, you'll start from 8 spell dmg again?

hrm if the average dps u gain from this trinket is only 40spell damage, doesnt it make this trinket nothing special?
eg. quag's eye is 37 dmg with proc of haste rating.

Just got the deck this morning, it is awesome for warlocks, damn near procs off everything. Banish, All types of lock fears, non damaging curses like CoS and CoE, just about everything you can bascially cast. It will not proc off dot ticks per say just inital application of the dot. Wands proc the melee side of the card, which you can have both melee and spell damage buffs going at the same time.

It procs off of every tick of arcane missiles. A mage can start a fight with 2 applications of low-threat arcane missiles and charge this up fully.

I'm considering this deck for my holy shock set. My question is: does a strike with Seal of Righteousness count as both a melee and spell attack (since magic and physical damage are dealt together in the same attack)? If so, this is an amazing upgrade for my dps set. Can any paladins confirm the way this works? Thank you.

Collecting decks is good for my gold flow since most players cant be arsed to collect cards one by one.
so i spend approx 1k on getting separate decks and sell complete deck for approx 2.5k.

Anyone know what the effect of the trinket is? I've seen the complete deck on sale for 5000 gold and Turalyon EU and that is just a crazy price.

Anyway, it'd be nice to know the effect.

This Trinket is hot for raiding. Its best used on a boss where you have tine to let it stack. Not so great for everyday grinding tho, The mob usually dies before its for anything.

For Blessings Deck:
The ace is the most rare, and it sells for a lot currently, but definately under 1k by a considerable amount.
The eight, seven, six, and five are the more rare of the 8 different cards, dropping from random mobs in heroic instances and kara. I believe two, three, and four are world drops from various 67+ mobs, and it can also drop in instances.

Currently, the price value of these cards can vary a lot.
From what I've seen it's very reasonable to sell two, three, and four for 30-50 gold each.
The five, six, seven, and eight are more around 50-75, but it will go down as more people get them.
The ace is around 500g give or take a few hundred.

I'm saying this from Frostwolf server; it may change from server to server

I am a hunter with this trinket and these have been my observations:

1) Range attacks apply both range and melee AP buff at once.
2) Arcane shot, multi shot, steady/aimed all will apply the AP.
3) Kill Command applies the caster spell buff. I am unsure as to what stacking buffs do since the mobs i tested on were weak, but I am sure KC procs spell dmg. I will post an edit if I find that stacking spell dmg increases KC dmg.
4) Pets do nothing as far as trinket: cannot proc it, gain only % contribution from your stats and cannot reapply it.

the Deck works off any INITIAL spell damage applied. if you do arcane explosion to three people, and there are no resists, it will stack 3 times. if you send off a pyroblast, it will stack from the pyroblast, but because the extra DoT that comes from pyroblast is not damage YOU specifically caused, rather damage that's caused by the effect of the spell, the trinket will not stack off the DoT of any spell.

works wonderfully on a boss, greatly increases damage output, but is still useful in everyday grinding or trash mobs in instances.

paid 400g for the deck, and is very useful as a frost/arcane mage, especially if you have high crit and use the nexus horn in conjuction with the deck.

It procs off every spell hit. If you use arcane explosin and it hits 5 mobs then thats +40 damage. It procs on every arcane missle hit so over the course of one channeling its 5 missles *8 = +40 damage per spell, two AM channels and you are at +80.

I can't believe you people have it so easy on your servers! On Laughingskull we pay well over 1500g per deck... Some people won't let them go for less than 2kg.

Individually the cards vary-

Ace = 400-550g
2 = 40-65g
3 = 40-65g
4 = 50-75g
5 = 75-125g
6 = 120-200g
7 = 200-300g
8 = 120-275g

From a casters point of view this keeps stacking as long as you do damage within 10 sec of the last time you did damage. So for PvE you will be at +80 spell damage most of the time. Another nice thing it that it takes ten times of damaging a target to get the full affect, this will help with threat slowly ramping up your damage allowing a tank more time to get a lead on threat.

Does this proc from a water elemental's frostbolt and or ranged frost nova? If so, I'm guessing it gives both you and your elemental the bonus damage?

it does not stack with you Pet. or your mages water element or your snakes. only attacks you do. because your wearing it. not your pet. so only you can get the buff

I'm currently a Protection paladin raiding MH and BT, once we're done there i may go Ret for some fun time.

From what i can tell, this trinket would proc both effects based on casting spells on your victims and doing white damage.

Can anyone confirm this? (Maybe a caster with it can see if they cant get it to stack up with some melee staff skills and then pop a few spells once it does come out)

Can you have more then one deck ?
example 2 of the same I see its unique but not unique equipped/
Of you can have 2 will the procs double up from each trinket of the same kind ?

or can you have 2 different darkmoon trinkets and diferent buffs proc off the 2 different trinkets ?

I'm thinking to use this for both my rogue and warlock combined with the lunacy deck I have

Really nice for pve enhancement Shammies since shocks will slowly stack the spell damage bonus and melee hits will stack the attack power so deep inside a fight you will get 120 attack power AND 80 spell damage wich is difficult to imrpove.
