Got this and Ocean Song Kilt at the same time. Pretty happy as resto shaman. Too bad it's not +crit, but with the EF nerf in 2.1, elemental shaman will need mp5 too.

This thing have dropped 4 of my 6 times in Heroic Ramparts, noone in group have ever needed on it, they only thing it have given me is 2 Void Crystals, and i thank for that :)

A bit of a letdown compared to Tidefury (D3) gauntlets https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=27510 ... Less mp5, only 4 more damage and some stats.

droped for me 2 days ago. pretty cool, better than s1 for pve. if you guys are getting them i wish you good luck. the drop rate is almost same as terrok's shadowstaff.

IMO i think that these gloves need less stam and either more spell dmg or some spell crit. As an elemental shaman you need mp5 bigtime if you want to last at all in raids, and you don't really need a huge amount of stam in pve. The glad gloves are better than this for pvp, but these gloves are still damn sexy for any elemental shaman doin pvp.

Got these today as Enhance/Resto shammy im wearing right now prob still going to use my gauntlets of desolation most of the time but these for healing

These are the best thing before tier4. Good dmg, mp5 and intellect. Pretty standard heroic type of gear.

When a shaman gets a high enough crit chance and 9000k + mana they should be able to go though a raid encounter without going OOM, this is without pots, flasks and whatnot. they should easily cope with their Mana Spring and Clearcasting... if you can't there's something wrong with your build.

MP5 is a decent stat to have, but by no means essential.
However, these are the best gloves for pve before t4/s1, they're decent enough to aim for while you grind badges for your badge gear, but don't count on having them around for too long after you get them.
