i think this ring needs a buff...for a 1% chance to drop and an epic it doesnt have enough stats...it needs +hit or crit, or just more AP

Very nice for a rogue, hunter, or enhancement shammy for PvP b/c of the stam, but deffinatly not useful for PvE

Does anyone else besides me find it curious how this ring vends for *really* much, more than for example Cataclysm's Edge (https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=30902) which is a "tier 6" twohanded weapon?

1: i really dont care if a hunter needs on this, as long as you neeed no leather or meelee weps over me, if a rogue rolls on your bow hes a bad anyway deadly throw is an extremely useful move (not so much pve) but the difference between an epic bow and blue throwing wep is minimal so its not worth to screw a hunter on his bow.

2: @ the comment that AP is pve, no youre wrong id much rather have hit rating and crit rating anyday vs. ap, my pvp spec (hemo) includes deadliness and i love a lot of ap so my hemos hit really hard

personally id let any non caster class roll on this considering heroic ub is one of the easiest instances ever so you can just re-run it the day after so just quit complaining and hope for the best

Ow... I kinda want to change my Naliko's revenge (had it for so long that i'm tired of looking at it...) and thought this... But no wai! No crit, only AP & stamina! Stamina & AP is great but gief crit! :S

Blizz needs to seriously rethink this item... it stinks. It almost seems like an error- who would want it?

Add 30 agility to it and perhaps... it's not even better than Naliko's or any of the other very easy to get high-60s rings.

Think of it like this, UB(H) is one of the easiest heroics so your first few times there you are probably not going to have the best gear, and high rep with all the factions to get the better rep rewards or the rings that you get from badges, this is proabaly going to be an uprgrade to more ppl than you think. Yeah it will be replaced but its not bad. Shoot it might be better than one of my tanking rings and I would roll on it for that and use it till I get a better one that had dodge or something but w.e. you dont like it then dont take it there will prob be someone though that could use it for an upgrade though.

Stupid to say it doesnt have enough stats....I wouldnt care if it had one stat..IF that ONE stat is good, then balance your stats with ALL of your gear..each piece doesnt have to balance itself...If I have one piece of gear that has 150 agility and one that has 150 stam and one that has 150 AP, Im not going to whine because they are one sided and not balanced gear..STUPID...It is the sum of your gear, NOT one piece at a time....

That all being said..It is a nice ring for alot of classes...as stated above...ANY class that can benefit from Stam and AP can need it...

The clone of this ring can be gained in a raid on the headless horseman (hallowe'en event in scarlet monastery) as well....don't need all 70's. Most groups will run many, many times trying for the helm, and the rings drop pretty much every time, so even lower levels along in a raid can get these if the higher ups already have theirs.

Note all these items are unique and cannot be vendered or disenchanted, so any extras just rot as you reset anyway. Why not help out less powerful characters (i am talking about lvl 55+ so as not to be adds magnets) get some advanced gear for later on? In raids, more targets for bombs, so less chance of a bad string of conflagrations taking out your (main) healer. Let the lower levels know that they are mostly on their own for healing (some groups will only take backup healing as lower levels), and to back off and bandage if they get hit with cleaves/conflagration.

BTW, I have seen a lvl 60 rogue in the raid doing normal attacks (including landing many poison applications) against the horseman and not being effected much at all by 10 levels of difference.....so even relatively low levels can help appreciably on raids.

Just set ground rules on epic loot....the high powered folks always have first dibs, and lower levels can pick up purple 'scraps' from later runs, which I am sure almost all would be thankful for!

Had issues with a feral druid over this ring. He adamantly claimed it to be a tank ring. As a hunter, Stamina and AP are important to me as well. Especially when tanking the Shaman in Gruuls. So I needed it and won, fairly. So please stop pouting about losing rolls. Items like this are more universal for almost all characters. It's not like a holy pally rolling on the Epic helm dropped by headless horseman. Now that is a ninja off the tank. (I was there and saw it happen).

lol I rolled on this over a Druid tank today. I felt a little bit like I should have passed it afterwards, but hey as a BM Hunter I need the AP more than he does. He needs the stam more, so I wouldn't have been pissed if he won. This thing really should have a little Agi or at least crit though. Bit of a @#$%ing downer that it's purple and only marginally better than some 67 blue ring from the AH.
