Strangely this shield with the "of the Physician" suffix has better healing stats than the epic Light Bearer's Faith Shield that you get from the heroic tokens vendor (https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=29267).

This thing is too good. I dont know if "of the Elder" is possible, but if it is, it would rival the shield from Mag, https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=29458. It definitely beats Light Bearer's Faith Shield in the "of the Physician" form. Too bad it looks like complete crap.

The +Healing bug on this item is in the process of being removed. From the patch notes for 2.2:

Demonic Bulwark: This item incorrectly had a base amount of bonus healing in addition to its random stats. That base bonus healing has been removed.

Part of the set of plate items that can have the suffixes 'of the Physician' and 'of the Knight', very rare and sought-after combinations of stats for Paladin Healers and Tanks respectively.

Head: Large Iron Metamorphosis Geode Sold after the attack on Bash'ir's landing event.
Chest: Yor Summoned within Heroic Mana Tombs. Bind on equip
Shoulders: King Dorfbruiser Summoned from the Bash'ir Stasis Chambers.
Bracers: Adversarial Blood Drops from any of the 4 summoned mobs.
Gloves: Small Iron Metamorphosis Geode Sold druing the attack on Bash'ir's Landing event.
Belt: Adversarial Blood Drops from any of the 4 summoned mobs.
Legs: Terokk Summoned in Skettis. Bind on equip
Boots: Malevus the Mad Summoned from the Netherstorm Prison chambers.

With the physician random enchant on top of the innate healing bonus, this used to be one of the best healing shields in the game. Don't bother farming for it anymore though; as of patch 2.2 the innate healing has been removed.

I just got best shield in game from Trelopades. Demonic Bulwark or the Physician.

Intellect: 18 (+12 enchant)

it adds a total of 108 healing.

I think im the only one with it so far! definately on my server at least.
But from all the times i've done it, looks like "of the beast" is most common.

The mob that drops this is unleashed from the cages at Bash'ir Landing, you don't get him every time nor are you promised the same shield every time. I did it and got a
Demonic Bulwark of the Knight:
3806 Armor
86 Block
27 Stamina
18 Defence Rating
21 Spell Damage and Healing
Equip Bonus 57 Healing

Quest is called:

Purging the Chambers of Bash'ir

Given by Image of Commander Ameer at 56, 38 in netherstorm... u have to click the E. transporter Zeta for him to appear.

I havent done it, but supposedly u have to do Stasis Chambers of Bash'ir first... and be revered? and done certain quests:
Step 1: Seek Out Ameer

Step 2: A Mission of Mercy

...in order to get and turn in keys.

Just to let you all know, I opened the Ethereum Stasis Chamber (the one with two pink bubbles right next to each other) and Trelopades (who drops a random enchant on a shield)came out more often there than the one with three pink bubbles next to each other.

But just to be clear, he's the guy that drops the healing shield, but it's a random enchant. So you might get something else other than +40 healing on it.
