This is a very good caster cape it is comparable to Shadow-Cloak of Dalaran dropped from Moroes in Karazhan

if you don't want to wait the drop from Moroes or Prince and have enough money buy this one

This is indeed a good caster cape, but not worth the 1000g or whatever it will cost, as much comparable capes from kara, and even blues from heroics are as good or better than this. Unless this is going for stupidly cheap, I don't recommend getting it.

Pretty nice to have until I get something from Karazhan.
Its one ugly cloak however.

uhh wtf are you talkin about..up until patch 2.1 this cloak was better then the shadow cloak of dalaran. Even with the patch it is really comparable. It's like the highest damage cloak pre-raiding...you're drunk!

Unfortunately it looks ugly being that its one of those short raggedy looking cloaks like a level 20 cloak. Thank Blizz for the 'hide cloak' option.

Ok silly question but ill ask none the less... Can this guy be summoned outside the questline? As im sure ive seen him as ive flown past but i could be wrong.

why woudl it be to bad for them to vendor it.. its BOE u can sell that item for like 1k gold + .. if u d/e'd it for void crystals ur just plain !@#$%^ed ..

Very true. I've seen it go for a bunch. But he said after casters are done with it... meaning it would be soulbound. So the DE'd void crystals would be worth more than the vendor value, usually only a few gold.

As a SP I had a couple of choices to flit between. I have been gathering time lost scrolls for the lead-up to the terrok quest but as it was taking an age i happened to see this on the AH, checked here for the average price and promptly returned to buy it for a rather nice 300g.

I had a +46 Shadow cloak with no other stats on it but the stam and int makes it worth the drop in Spell Damage for me, same goes for the Cloak of the black void which only has 11int as far as stats go and only 2 more Spelldam.

It's horses for courses though, different classes and indeed different playstyles demand different stats. I am a PvP/PvE player so this suits me to a tee.

I just got this as a drop, (in quest talked about above)
im a broke ass warrior 1500 gold away from epic flyer, almost will do anything for gold, I put it in trade chat that i wanted to sell, 1 offer for 100g came, lazy ass dude wanted me to c.o.d. it, i said sure , then he links me his advanced auctioneer, saying its never been on AH or some crap, so i 2nd guess my self, ask a guildy and he said itll go for 800-1000gold, i am putting up on AH for 1k gold buy out-750 start bid,

we'll see :)
