Spell Haste is getting a buff in patch 2.2 from 21 to 15.7 haste rating contributing to a 1% reduction in casting times.

Passive ability value:

2.1 = 1.33...% reduction in casting time @ 70.

2.2 = 1.78% reduction in casting time @ 70

In the 2.4 patch, this item, and other spell haste leather items, will finally see a use for Restoration druids.

Spell haste will then reduce the global cooldown of spells, thus giving a benefit while casting instant spells too, most importantly Lifebloom and Rejuvenation.

These are a fantastic resto druid healing item, and I feel like this is going to be the future of druid healing itemization. Int, spell haste, and + healing. The spell haste allows for a lower GCD and faster Regrowths, further enhancing the druids highly mobile style of healing. A druid with enough spellhaste will be able to roll more lifeblooms on more targets, or just have an easier job weaving other spells inbetween lifeblooms casts. Fantastic.

I'd like to see +spirit on them as well, but other than that, these are some solid healing greaves.

wow...first thing I've seen with a spell haste rating. Judging by how regular haste works, this item would certainly be of use to druids...curse that 3.5 second heal...(3.0 with spec of course lol)

why are they adding spell haste for druids makes no sence since we mostly work on hots with "no" cast time
and no spirit? i as a druid want spirit you know with the regen and added healing power in tree form

Or arena druids who mostly runs around in caster form healing.....i would not mind a Healing touch that last less then 3 sec... if you get the set "renewed life" armor you might even see a healing touch that faster tehn regrowth and heals a crap load more, and if your resto spec'ed its cost less as well.

So pretty much with this set, and if you maybe get a bit more of spell haste, Healing Touch Spec would be better than, Tree
