Who cares about the usefulness of the 12 spirit on this item; it doesn't make or break it. All I see when I look at this thing is the huge damage and crit.

Best in the game at the moment for fire mages/fire locks... unless you're not hit capped from other gear, in which case this competes: https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=32349

FYI: For all people who are interested in getting this, or any trash drop from Hyjal for that matter, make sure you are looting mobs as they die, and make sure all who are not interested in the loot pass ASAP, roll need if you win the item (however your guild does loot). Above all else, make sure you handle loot quickly.

This dropped for my guild recently, and we had a huge server lag spike, some got disconnected, including the tank... The wipe ensued. A mob got looted and the this neck came up, I rolled need, but before everyone could pass on it Jaina Proudmore died and the mobs despawned, the loot went with them and the item never went to my bags.

It's a bug in my opinion, but I'm sure Blizzard would say it's working as intended.

Stats should read according to Blizzard:
+16 stamina
+17 intellect
+12 spirit

Flame Shock has a cooldown, you can't really nuke with it.

This is primarily for Mages and Destruction Warlocks.

This is more fire mage then fire lock, if for no other reason then the spirit which is almost completely unused by locks (useless while in a fight) and Fire mages can have upto 45% regain with spec and magic armor. But, in the end, any item dropped in Black Temple (or almost any 25 man instance) will only be decided by the guild that is running it, not by an discussions had here.

I got this tonight in MH, feel real lucky Actually.

2 Dropped, the first one right before a boss and wasn't looted before we wiped. After we wiped and ran back it had dissapeared.

2nd one I just needed after guild decided that we need to change how we loot these items with the limited time.

Good luck to others that are looking for this item.
