This staff is created when you combine 50 Apexis Shards with the Depeleted Staff.

You get the Depeleted Staff off random mobs on Blade's Edge Plateau. Ours dropped from Rivendark the dragon.

It's worth noting that this, and all refilled depleted items, are BoE. This means they can be sold on the auction house.

This staff, along with Auchenai Staff and Seer's Cane are the three highest intel rare weapons.

Thus making for some great, easy to get, evocation - sticks for mages.

I picked this up today for 50g. Someone wanting to unload it. I will need something for my mage once he hits 70 (19 levels away). It's in the bank waiting for me.

Got this for my 'lock. Picked it up over a month ago for 75g and was pretty hesitant in purchasing it but I figured I could just sell it if I decided I didn't want it.
After doing quite a bit of research into different staffs, I'm really glad I did buy it. In my opinion it is the second best BoE staff for warlocks in the game, right behind this one It seems to be quite a bit more rare than the Death staff and for 75g, I realize now that I got a bargain.

Stick a spell power enchant on it and you have one heck of a great staff that will hold you over for a long time

Bought mine for 150g. Though it lacks crit, this stick, with +30 Int on it, and my other gear, gives me over 11K mana, which I find to be a welcome benefit for instance runs with lots of adds like BM add duty.

I got one dropped from a random mob in Blade Edge's Mountain around the Daily Questing area (West of BEM)

To all who want's to get depleted item:

All the depleted items (staff, axe, dagger etc.) are random drops from all mobs in the ogri'la area... They don't require you to have any rep with ogri'la at all, although getting the 50 shards to unlock them and turn them into useable items is a whole lot easier to get if you are farming rep with ogri'la and sha'tari skyguard in the area anyway

Got this after I managed to kill Shartuul for the first time, put it up for 100g/150g buyout and sold for the buyout price. Was hoping for the Badge of Tenacity (for own use on my druid) but it's nice extra cash. :)

Lol I just played a stupid and impulsive move by getting this staff at level 46 from the AH and putting it in my bank as a motivater for level 70. As a Boomkin it'll be a great staff but it's a long way off.

Woha rockin baby! just dropped of me from some random trash mob in Southern BEM called a abbysal flame bringer hard to grind being a fire mage and all dropped whilst dooing my dailys.. Now on Bronzebeard this is going to be worth a mint

For screyer the Seer's cane is better IMO and costs 48g, just need to be revered with Screyer.

The only way the seers staff is better is if you are a healer. Other than that, your crazy.
