The trinket gives you one of several different outfits, randomly selected. Also, it seems to change randomly when you change a zone. So if you put it on in a dungeon and leave the dungeon, you'll come out looking different.
It also increases your size to about that of a Tauren, so it's worth using a Winterfall Firewater as well to be even bigger.

it's not usable in arena, its on 30min cd so you cant pop it in there and the transformation is a buff so it gets removed if you enter with it.

as a note on the randomly selected outfits, if you're a warrior and change stances you will also switch outfit.
the trinket in general is pretty cool (for a while), but the cooldown vs. duration makes it kinda boring

If a druid shapeshifts they will lose the buff.

The Arakkoa you transform into seems to be pretty random. Ive used it three times now and gotten 3 very different looking models.

This the the Burning Crusade version of the Orb of Deception. It does not make you friendly with the Arakkoa, or unfriendly with your current faction. It is purely for cosmetic purposes, and it has a wide variety of emotes.

- /Sit or Lie
- /Sleep
- /Kneel
- /Point
- /Laugh or Lol
- /roar

It is has an animation for casting spells, drinking / eating, hearthing, clicking a soul well or a summon, and possibly others. It drops off of Terrok, a boss you summon by doing a Skyguard questline. The trinket itself lasts forever (yay!) and could certainly fool an opposing faction into thinking you are an NPC.

This is my favorite trinket in the entire game.

Sure, there are others that are pretty cool, but this sure beats the heck out of the Orb of Deception.

dropped on 'confrérie du thorium' an europeen server, today on my first try on Terokk ^^ don't know if i'm really lucky or not..

cd is 30 minutes

time of the spell in skettis arrakoa form is 5 minutes but you rest in this form if you takes damages

The animation are really good, too bad that we can't have this race for character =)

Incorrect. This is a drop off Terokk, acts like an orb of deception-ish trinket, turns you into an arokkoa for 5 minutes. The effect persists through combat, but you can't mount. The item lasts forever though. Unequipping the trinket removes the effect.

This dropped for my husband a few days ago and we have killed Terrok at least 6 times since to try and get it for the rest of the group. No luck so far.

Its a great fun trinket and the feathers change colour each time you equip it

The true drop rate is closer to 50%... killed him 9 times today with various friends, and it dropped 4.

That just means your lucky not that it has a high drop rate. I've killed him numerous times and not seen it once.

anyone seen this drop? what's the drop rate like? i killed Terokk 4 times and i don't see it at all.

If you're going back to farm Terokk for the Time-Lost FIgurine and know you did all the Skettis unlock quests but aren't sure where to pick up in order to summon and kill him, this is the comment for you. Unfortunately, the process to summon Terokk is very convoluted and requires multiple steps. I recommend reading through the whole thing first when in front of an Auction House as several of these steps can be bypassed with purchased materials if you can find them for sale, and I will note each.

Asssuming you have done the prerequisite quests, the process to summon Terokk is as follows:

1) Kill some mobs in Veil Ala'rak to collect Shadow Dust. All the Skettis can drop it, although it's not a guaranteed drop. Shadow Dust is not soulbound and can theoretically be purchased on the AH. Every x6 Shadow Dust you collect can be traded for one Elixir of Shadows from Severin at the quest hub camp in the north. The elixir itself is soulbound. I recommend just gathering enough for one elixir for now because you'll get plenty more Dust in the next step to buy all the Elixirs you might want.

2) Drinking the Elixir of Shadows gives you a buff for 20 minutes where you can see and kill ghost Time-Lost Skettis High Priests, Reavers, and Worshippers. These mobs are mostly found in the treehouses and congregated around the purple runes on the ground in the area. Farm these special Time-Lost shadowy mobs to collect Time-Lost Scrolls. You will need x40 scrolls for the next step. These scrolls can also be bought and sold on the AH so if you see a bunch for cheap it is worthwhile to snag them. You will get plenty of Dust doing this also in case you need another Elixir before you've finished your 40.

3) Once you have your x40 Time-Lost Scrolls, head to one of those purple ground runes. Click on the pile of bones in the centre and you should see four dialogue options to summon and kill four different mobs for x10 scrolls per summon. You will need to move to a new bone pile after summoning each one, as the bones will be used up and have a respawn time. Killing all four named mobs will net you four critical items: Gezzarak's Claws, Akkarai's Talons, Karrog's Spine, and Vakkiz's Scale. These can also be bought and sold on the AH.

4) Once you have all four, take these items back to the questhub and give them to Hazzik, the bird in the cage. In trade, he will give you a Time-Lost Offering. The Offering can also be bought and sold on the AH. Take the Offering to the island aptly named Terokk's Rest. When you click on the skull pile here in the middle of the green rune, it will give you an option to summon Terokk. This will consume the Offering.

This process has a lot of steps and takes a decent amount of time, but the good news is there does not appear to be a loot lockout or quest turn-in limitation other than the respawn time on the bone piles (about 15minutes), so you can repeat this process as much as you like until you get the item.
