A lot of people (of which i am one) do both PvE and PvP a lot. I raid 4 times a week and PvP the rest of the time. I'd take the ring and be happy.

"you need to raid now to get best PvP gear!" - There is nowhere near enough "PvP" drops from raids to make this a valid comment.

Even if you ignore the resilience, the ring would have use in PvE for situations where you need a lot of HP.

This can make for a great Druid tank ring. Druids can hit the armor cap rather easily, so armor isn't necessarily that important. Druid tanks with Survival of the Fittest only need to reach 2.6% reduced chance to be crit to be at the crit cap. With the lack of leather armor with +def on it, many druids use resilience to fill in the gaps. 0.63% of that 2.6% coming from one ring alone, not to mention the additional AP for building more threat and the decent stamina on it, makes this a great ring for PVE tanking druids.

As to those who cry "PVP gear now comes from raiding," try being a PVE bear tank who doesn't PVP, and you can cry about "all the best druid PVE tanking gear comes from PVP." If I PVE tank, why should I need to PVP for gear with resil on it to remain uncrittable and capable of performing my primary role? When they start adding more leather gear with +def, then I'll agree that maybe this ring shouldn't be in a PVE encounter. Until then, great bear ring all around.

One of the only awesome pieces of PvE gear you obtain through raiding. Huge amount of stamina and resilience, good amount of AP as well, though a lack of crit leaves something to be desired.

Why make PVP lovers who get no joy killing PVE computer generated characters go into a freaking dungen or raid. Just keep PVP in PVP and the PVE for the masses of PVE folowers.

Have you never seen a PvP character doing pve? A guy on my server got full merciless (hunter, so includes 2h axe & xbow) full veteran, cloak, and then trinkets and rings are from PvE. Including this babe!

Some players enjoy both PVE and PVP. As hard as this is for some of you to understand, the raids of lvl 60 are not like the raids today, most of them are challenging, and dare I say, fun!

I concentrated solely on pvp at 60, raids back then required 40 people and were so boring I often fell asleep in the middle of fights (not that anyone noticed with 40 people, considering only 15-20 did any real work at any given time). These days raids depend more on the individuals skill, and contribution to the raid.

Love love love. my hunter would kill to have this. But of coarse IT DIDN'T DROP. 4 kills. The big guy hates me.
