Bad News for broom owners

According to the Patch 2.3.2 PTR Patch Notes Broom timers will be changed from played time, to Real Time. So no matter what, you'll lose your broom in 14 days when it goes live.

Dropped for me about every other run got 3 in all so far sold 1 for 10g and gave the others to low lv friends

It seems that you can't get knocked down from the broom while flying, unlike your normal mount.

Can anyone else confirm this?

All Brooms drops from the boss in SM Gravy.. And it's not going to dissapear after first use ! just blizz who made it tricky :) i have one for riding says same and i still hve after 10 uses

all of the brooms are gotten from the real horseman, a lvl 70 elite in SM graveyard who is sorta hard to kill. i suggest having a 5 man group with at least two 70s with good equpiment. the only exception is the rickety broomstick that goes very slow and is dropped from the lvl 11 immitator horseman in goldshire. i dont know when he spawns but when he dies, you dont loot his body you loot his pumpkin chest that he drops.

Lvl 40 and 60 brooms are called Magic and Swift Magic Broom they are 60% and 100% hovering mounts.

There is also 2 other mounts for 70 players they can fly in outland only. They require 225 or 300 riding skill...

I bought one for 10g. Can a lvl 55 get it without like the 70 elite? like can all levels do the quest or no

Beware of flying across zone borders - these things don't work in the rain or fog as far as i can see - so be careful how high u fly or u will suddenly drop out of the sky. u will get the message 'the weather is not right' when u try and mount in the wrong conditions lol.

AND! That's 14 days playing time, not 14 days elapsed time. I picked up a broom three days ago, but I have 13 days left on it... Of course, if I had a life there would be more time on it. hehe After the timer runs out then it's a one time use item.

I heard that of tomorrow (1st november) the duration of all brooms should disappear. This means that this thing won't fade away after 14 days but you can enjoy it forever.
We'll see if this is true...
