A clear upgrade over the gloves off Attumen, and almost certainly over Tier 4 as well. These lose the 10mp5, which granted is a lot, but gain 18 healing and 2 sockets, as well as losing 7sta and 4int for a gain of 7spi. Considering most healing priests have PMC and Whitemend, the loss of a set bonus is a non-issue for most (though not all) priests, and even so the set bonuses aren't overwhelming.

With the upcoming changes to meditation, spirit starts to look more and more appealing. Couple these changes to the also upcoming changes to certain spells (like COH) utilizing + healing better, and these are a viable alternative to T4.

The ugly part about comparing these to T4 is that there's no clear equivalence between regen (of either kind) and healing. These have more healing than T4, but less regen.

The best I could do puts 1 mana/5 at 8 healing for a roughly Karazhan geared priest (and as your healing goes up that ratio also goes up, as you can generally convert mana/5 into additional HP healed in some fashion), which would make T4 significantly better.

For a druid stacking +healing, these gloves are comparable to Gloves of Unfailing Faith, although they have less stats, especially the mp5, you can get a pair of them through an easy 60 badges, so if you pick them up early, you will have a pair of gloves to last you until your guild is in the Black Temple.

A Dazzling Talasite and a Royal Nightseye would be the way to go here (double Royal Nightseye gives more or less the same result).

I like the high healing, but the lack of any mp5 apart from what you'll get from the gems baffles me. You need to be outside the 5 sec rule to get regen equal to ~10mp5 like the tier 4 gloves have and tier 4 even has 18 spirit on top of that. Gaining 34 +healing and taking a huge drop in regen really is disappointing from an item 8 Itemlevels above Incarnate.

I was completely opposed to buying these mainly because of the horrible green skin and partially because they are just as good as the t5 priest gloves from Leo.

Patch 2.3.2 introduced many new skins for existing items such as this and several items in ZA.

These gloves were re-skinned with a darkish black look, and I bought them immediately when I saw the graphic had changed.

Im only bidding minimum dkp bids on T5 gloves since i have these, the upgrade to T5 is very minimal.

Most people will have the regen they need before even hitting the tier 4 gloves thus making these a good find to boost your healing. not to mention all of the Regen enchants if you're struggling with Regen. I have 405 regen 215mp5 while casting and I'm thinking of swapping my tier 4 gloves for these for a total gain of 45 healing and a total loss of 3mp5 (thank you spirit)

Not a HUGE mp5 loss as you can clearly see but don't forget to add the spirit bonus of other gloves to check to see if its worth it to you.

Great candidate for priests who want to add another slot with some spell haste, as these gloves are very well rounded (stam, int, spr, good +healing) and relatively cheap to acquire. Just add Quick Dawnstone Forceful Talasite Quick Lionseye Forceful Seaspray Emerald however you see fit.

Compared to the best haste alternatives:
Handguards of the Dawn (Kil'jaeden)
Hands of Eternal Light (Expensive Sunwell pattern)
Gloves of Unfailing Faith (RoS)

With the addition of 2 Quick Dawnstone these gloves will be a perfect addition to my haste set and are a great candidate for any general/well rounded gear setup.

Well since no one else has commented yet. I just snagged these and they are much better then they first appear.

Comparing them to T5 gloves::
I've used a Luminous Fire Opal(11 heal, 4 int) for the yellow socket and a royal nighteye for the blue socket(9 heal 2mp5) in order to get the socket bonus (another +7 healing woot)

Assuming healing chant is thrown on both (+35 healing)

Well, you're talking about comparing them to T5 - not even T4. Agreed that they're on par with T5, but many people will never be lucky enough to get these gloves the T5 way. So, that said, grinding badges for a month (3 per day for 20 days) can get you a truly great pair of gloves.

What's even better for a priest is they don't interfere with the whitemend/PMC sets, so these are effectively "free" upgrades. Unless you're in a guild and can spend the time/DKP on T5 tokens, against the warriors and others, these are awesome and probably the best gloves most people will ever see (until a green drops in the expansion which blows this away).
