I couldn't really see using this over the 23 spell damage food, but then I realized this restores mana. So it actually is a rather nice thing to cook up if you are a caster that doesn't enjoy buying water.

I'm pretty sure you're only allowed 1 food buff on you at a time, no matter if it says well fed or enlightened.

Crescent-Tailed Skullfish are now fishable from Deadwind Pass, and I assume also from inside Zul'Aman. 10 minutes outside with 460 skill buffed got me 6 of these, plus 2 eels 20 trout and 7 bloodfin catfish (the other new fish type).

The 'enlightened' effect does NOT stack with well fed. Since you are drinking the soup (it restores mana) I guess the new title makes sense.

Not sure I followed what webtekkie said but to put it simple: Enlightened does not work WITH well fed. You can only get one effect since they both involve a cooking item to be eaten\drinken, and it honestly sucks a bit.

Confirmed, the Enlightened effect replaces the Well-Fed effect and vice versa.

You can also fish them in the lake down in Deadwind Pass. Also, Bloodfin Catfish and Lightning Eels. :)

Skullfish can be fished from the water around Karazhan.

This recipe dropped for me from the barrel of fish reward from the daily cooking quest.

The recipe is a random reward from the cooking daily quest, which is obtained from The Rokk in Lower City at 61, 16. You can randomly get the recipe from either the Barrel of Fish or the Crate of Meat.

hmmm - according to data here, this recipe ONLY can be found in the Barrel of Fish.

I was also checking the Stormchops one ( I have the other 2 already), and saw that it can be found in Crate of Meat or Barrel of Fish, but slightly more likely in the Barrel.

Something to consider if you are choosing the rewards, maybe -
