This ring is best for Shadow Priests and Affliction Warlocks as their primary stat is raw spell damage, instead of crit/etc.

Go in SM GY and when u see undead mobs, kill all and go to the small crypt. You will see a Pumpkin Shrine, which gives the daily quest . Someone in your party must accept this quest, and then click on the Loosely Turned Soil behind the shrine to place a Dreary Candle.

This encounter is trivial compared to H Mana Tombs and Nexus Prince Shaffar. If you were interested in his ring drop, run headless horseman 5 times daily and you'll have a much better chance of getting it. (dropped 3 times in a row yesterday and even our healer got it)

None of the rings are possible to DE, it's also NOT possible to sell to vendor so actually there is no need to greed if you don't need it.

Be aware: if a hunter is summoning the Horseman, *make sure* they don't Feign Death (the Horseman goes for whoever summoned him) or the horseman *will* depsawn, wasting your try.

It dropped today at Scarlet Monastery the Graveyard part. There is a quest inside a pumpkin where you get a candle, use the candle on the pile of dirt behind the pumpkin, and the Headless Horseman appears. He is a little tricky, requires a 5-man group.
good luck getting it.

This dropped when we took him. He is easy, we were 4 in the team. I healed as shadow spec. Had a tank, another Shadow priest that DPS:ed and a warlock.

He has 65000Hp when you get him down his head starts to fly around nuke it when it is at 33% it joins with the body again and go after the person with the highest threat.

Same as phase one, but he conflags randomly in the party (be sure to heal the person with conflag, they go down rather fast so fastest heals only) and he does a whirlwind aswell. Whirlwind hurts if you wear cloth... at 33% last phase begins.

He spawns some pumpkin heads that in turn spawns some fiends. They hit cloth for 800-1100. I Healed the lock while he AOE:d them, and sp single target them. Get the horseman down, same as before, head will get loose and when you kill it he is dead.

Thats it. Our party of 4 was decent geared. Guild progress 4 bosses in SSC and one in The eye.

This drops From headless horseman note' theses rings have Twin bro's or sisters what that mean is the Clones of em but with diff names so one on each hand

This boss is fairly easier than any lvl 70 dungeon boss
Killed him a few times with a 4man group, Rogue(tank), wlock, mage, paladin

Not really, you can have an epic ring or if ur a plate wearer u can have a head piece, thats hardly epic'd out.

oh and thats slack on blizzards part for just renaming existing rings, but never-the-less free epix

This Item is ridiculously overpowered for what you do to get it. as a shadowpriest, it already topped off my exalted kara ring.

I wouldnt be destroying the ring you just replaced because I think a Nerf is incoming.

Got mines today. Quick as hell. Wasted no time. Took 8 resets with 2 diff groups before it dropped for me once. I got it and sure as hell aint going back, The brooms and stuff is just fluff, give me my epic ring and Im done.

Went with 3 other guildies, found a healer, and took him down. This dropped, which the healer and I rolled on, and I got lucky and won. I am only 66 though, so gonna be a few more days till I can wear it, but I like the stats!

Got this yesterday along with the broom. Actually a very sweet ring compared to how easy the fight was. I replaced Seer's Signet with it and gained over 300 mana and seven damage points while the only loss was about a third of a point of crit. I am arcane/fire 47/14/0 so get full benefits of it, and fire and frost would not get as much, but all in all a sweet, sweet ring for an easy boss.

I smell a flaw in this epic-festivity.

Before the Haters come complaing how easy this is to get, let me note a couple of things.

1) The Rings are Unique (you can only have one of a paticular kind on at once).

2) You can't DE the stuff (like pvp gear)

3) This is a limited time event...if you got a group, EVERY class can walk away with at least one epic. If not, sucks that you lost out on an easy way to obtain epics.

3) No class is gonna be "epiced out". Only a priest or pally can wear two items from the event at the same time (two rings that can be used at the same time; Witching band and Signet).

4) So at most, most classes only need to run this to get about 2 epics for their class. Most others 1 unless they want a broom.

They are about to release Season 3 with another Instance in the horizon as well as the expansion. I bet in 6 months these rings that people are complaining about being "too easy" to get are going to be considered low end.

Get it while you can. If its too easy, go down Illidan.

Im holy palay and use both the rings (my old ones sucked balls) they worl nice with each other tbh and for only killing one guy they are epic and most epic rings are rep or raid based so its nice blizz put some easy ones in for peeps who cant raid that often.
