Drops from the Eredar Twins, 4th boss in Sunwell plateau.

Solid amount of stats, crit, haste, nice spelldamage -and- two sockets make these shoulders better then most of the BT/MH & T6 loot.

These are without a doubt the best shoulders in game for mages. With the spell haste changes this means a massive increase in dps.

The new best gem for a yellow socket is Quick Lionseye.
For a red socket this would be Reckless Pyrestone.

When gemming this with these two gems you can get the most dps out of them. You could put two Quick Lionseye in them but that would mean you lose the socket bonus. In this case it would be slightly, just slightly better to take the Reckless Pyrestone.

I have to agree that these are the best shoulders in the game for Mages, it's annoying that these match the Warlock tier 6 boots/bracers/belt while Shoulderpads of Knowledge's Pursuit with spirit instead of spell haste matching the Mage set, a hint on how much blizzard knows about mage itemization.

As a warlock, I suggest passing this off to the mages. Their T6 shoulders, Mantle of the Tempest, are absolutely horrible. Ours are much better used for the 4-piece Tier 6 bonus, while they, outside of this item, don't really have a strong alternative.

Very Druid looking for shoulders.

Either way, can benifit any caster who likes to stack some Spell haste

Only if blizzard could have done the same with most of the druid tier sets :(

Hey, this is great for all casters, not just Druids. I'm a mage and I think this is the best shoulder item so far.
