This staff drops in normal mode from Kael'Thas Sunstrider in the Magisters' Terrace, the new 5 man dungeon in patch 2.4.

When socketed with one Runed Living Ruby and two Veiled Noble Topaz, the staff becomes far superior then any other blue level 70 staff.

Giving it a total stats of:

37 Stamina
27 Intellect
31 Spell hit
145 Spell damage

I dunno, I would roll on this as a boomkin for sure. Maybe even as a shaman, just to throw sunfire on it for show.

if socketed right this could be better then a hand full of epic staffs out there and can benifet both mages and spriests.

Im a lock and i have this staff. No reason a lock shouldn't have this staff it has +spell dmg and you can add some decent gems to it. I also added the +40 spelldmg and i believe im going to have this staff for quite a while. luckily i got this staff first time i was here ^_^
