Skin of Dwarven Stout can generally be found from innkeepers or NPC's labeled <barmaid> <wine vendor> and few others.
Base price is 1s20c

Same goes for Flagon of Mead
Base price is 15s

Both drop from Stomper Kreeg in Dire Maul North

Just as a quick reference, these are generally the most convenient places to get them:

-Vinemaster Alamaro for scryers only...yes you get a discount from rep status. hes behind the main scryer building

-Kylene is found in the bar next to the heroic/dungeon daily ethereals in lower city...you can also get a rep discount from her

-Barkeep Morag is found in the ogrimmar inn

-In Stormwind, there are 5 NPC's who sell them...2 in mage quarter, 2 in trade district, and 1 in the old town

-In Ironforge, there are 2 in the building right in the west wall of the city, and 2 in the Military ward

For horde the city that usually has most people at any one time is ogrimmar, so i only listed the ogrimmar vendor here

Since ive never played an alliance toon, i just listed both stormwind and ironforge...in fact theres actually no vendor on wowhead that sells the mats in darnassus or exodar.

the base price (meaning without any discounts) would be 3s 24c per lager
friendly: 3s 8c
honored: 2s 92c
revered: 2s 75c
exalted: 2s 60c

considering cost and accesibility, this is worth making if for whatever reason you dont have that small extra boost to get you fishing in places like nagrand.

The drop rate is much higher than the 3% stated here. The recipe won't show up again if you already have it.

@eliah: That's exactly what i was going to say. This recipe makes no logical sense. However, i'm tempted to try it in real life, possibly while fishing.
