Well just looking at some buffs for a gauge. Fortitude gives you 8 stam at lvl 12, and 79 at lvl 70. Motw gives you 2 to all stats at 10 and 14 at lvl 70. For a 9.8 and a 7 times increase respectively. And the ring has an 11 times increase in stats. So while "better" is a little subjective, it clearly outpaces at least those 2 buffs in terms of growth from lvl 10 to 70. I'm going with +22 at 70 being better than +1 at 10.

Quite funny actually, The One Ring has 1 Of each stat, and The Two Ring has 22 of each stat.

And theres only 1 digit in 1's, but 2 2's in 22..

This thing is godly for feral druids. The fact that we get +3% bonus to all stats via Survival of the Fittest . Comparing it to one of my current rings A'dal's Command I gain:

-7 Strength
+6 Agility
+4 Stamina
+22 Intellect
+22 Spirit

I would definitely trade 7 strength for all those added stats. Having the huge boost to intellect is nice and the spirit will give us more mana back while were in cat / bear form and from innervate. But the fact that there hasn't been a ring like this since Band of Unending Life makes me happy to see one again.

Also currently as of next patch, 2.4:

Nurturing Instinct increases your healing spells by up to 50/100% of your Agility, and increases healing done to you by 10/20% of your Attack Power while in Cat form.

So this ring will also grant +22 healing. I personally think this is the ultimate feral druid ring. And to top it all off, its not unique...you can have two of them! If I get the chance, I'm most definitley going to try and obtain two next patch.

With Heart of the Wild and Survival of the Fittest that would mean:

STR:
52 x 1.03 x 2 = 135.2 AP
52 x 1.03 x 2 x 1.1 = 149.AP in catform
AGI:
52 x 1.03 x 1.1 = 59 AP in catform
52 x 1.03 / 12 = 4.5% dodge
52 x 1.03 / 24.2 = 2.21% crit
52 x 1.03 = 53.56 armor
52 x 1.03 x 4 = 214.24 armor in bearform
STA:
52 x 1.03 x 10 = 535.6 hp
52 x 1.03 x 1.2 x 1.25 x 10 = 803 hp in bearform
INT:
52 x 1.03 x 1.2 x 15 = 964 mana
52 x 1.03 x 1.2 / 80 = 0.8% spellcrit
SPI:
Assuming you are out of the 5 second rule:
52 x 1.03 / 4.5 = 12 mana per 2 seconds in normal form (Night elf/Tauren Form)
52 x 1.03 / 5 = 11 mana per 2 seconds in form

and if you are out of combat:

52 x 1.03 x 0.09 = 5 hp per 2 seconds

With the talent Nurturing instinct after patch 2.4 you will also gain:

52 x 1.03 = 53 +healing
The total AP in catform from these rings is 208 (from STR and AGI) so 208 x 0.2 = +41 healing done to you in catform

Ret Paladin's will benefit greatly from this ring as the majority of rings we currently wear are Rogue/Hunter oriented with very little, if any, Intellect. A Ret Pally's main stat for damage is STR followed by AGL and then of course you have to have STA and from then on it's fluff. I'll drop a little bit of strength for 22 more INT. Is it worth 2000g on the AH? Depends on the individual.

Kinda an odd question here, but what would the going price (or at the least a reasonably expectable price) for one of these nowadays? It's extremely rare and a significant upgrade for most classes, especially the three hybrid classes.

What could one expect to sell (or buy) one of these for? I've never seen one on my server.

1k for it's epic value and the shortage of rings, plus add another 200-300G for the fact that it won't be fished that often, so starting bid 1200-1300G and 1500-1600 for Buy Out

Here's a real kicker: This is not the first item to bear the name "The 2 Ring" - it's the second.

The old "The 2 Ring" was a req. level 12 green ring with +2 to all stats, and the quote was something like "Better than the one ring" (Don't quote me on that). This new, epic version replaced the old with the introduction of the fishing daily quests

Griftah in Lower city sells the 3 ring, just ask for it by its code name 'Barnum and Bailey's'. An enchanter can slap 2 +4 all stats enchant on 2 of these rings to have + 52 all stats. My druid enchanter is drooling at the prospect, assuming you can indeed equip 2 of them.

Short version:

I'm paying 3000g (with an additional 600g finders fee) for this ring on Ner'zhul, mail Lonelyknight.

Long version:

This is a very clever Blizzard tactic to get more people to fish in Outland. The new daily fishing quest guy is standing by the lake outside Shatt. Hard to miss.

Once the word got out, there were a lot more people fishing in various locations around Outland.

Because this ring only drops during daily Outland fishing, the value should stay very high (2000-5000) until the Lich King expansion at the end of the year. Quite a sack of gold if you were just fishing without thinking about it.

I never took up fishing so I'm willing to spend a chunk of mining and skinning money to acquire this item.

Got mine today on the Teneras server- alliance. Listed for 1750g bid with a 1950g buyout. Can't wait to see what it goes for? This was in fact obtained from the fishing daily in the bag of fishing treasures when completed. I almost didn't do the quest today becuase of immense wife aggro.

I value the item based on overall stats, so no, the math was not missed.

However to validate your statement:

YES - +44 to EACH stat

AND

+110 to OVERALL per ring, or +220 TOTAL stats

This of course, assumes it's not unique equipped.

And if I don't get one by next week, I'm raising the stakes to 4500g.

Bought the first one an hour ago from a lucky fisherman, paid heavy for it.

When you put it on, it just says Soulbound, not unique or unique equipped.

So I'm going out on a limb and look for a second. Here's hoping that Blizzard just missed this one.

If they change it to unique equipped, do you think the other one will just pop off, or remain there until I'm dumb enough to remove it for a second?

It will remain equipped as it was regardless of changes made to it, but once it is removed you will never be able to equip it again.

The comment on the Warcraft fishing site is accurate. The drop rate out of the daily fishing treasure bag is very very low. I've been soliciting a relatively high offer with an additional finders fee award (so others will look while I'm working) for 10 days, no takers yet.

The good news is that server prices seem to be ranging 2000-5000. If you do happen to get one, hold out for the high gold, because there are some rich druids and shamans waiting for you!

Yeah on my server I see them steady going for 2k buyout, thinking about getting two for my pally instead of a fast flyer, got enchanting for the +4 stat to rings, so the madness would be complete for stats. Just hope they don't "fix" anything to keep from wearing two in the future.

Could someone confirm if this ring is actually in Phase 1 of TBC Classic? Wowhead indicates Phase 5, but heard some people say it exists in TBC Classic already.
