I wonder if https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=24253 is better for tanking than this one. The defense rating difference is negligable but I dont know whether to choose 200 armor or 6 stam.

A druid would prefer this over https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=24253, because of the armor.

whether Warrior / Paladin would, is out of my reach since I don't have one of those.

I'm not really sure which would be better for a warrior tank. I currently use https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=28660. I am a little over where I need to be on my defense skill, so I think it would be better off with the extra 100 AC from the cloak off of Illhoof. If you're short on defense though this one may be the way to go.

Note: Non-DEable, so if someone wants it for looks let em take it. I'm sure they did this so people couldn't just farm Voids all day.

Compared to other tanking cloaks around its level, Kara/Badges/etc., it's a downgrade but it is much more easily available for those of us not lucky enough to get Ilhoof's and saves you the badges for a better piece.
