On my server, gold farmers have the market cornered on leather head gear for some reason. Anything below OL level goes for 14g minimum unless it's a crafted item. Since there really aren't any crafted leather head items with caster stats below level 40, I ended up getting this for my elem/resto shaman at level 28. A bit low on the armor, but the stats are wonderful and since I use a shield it makes up for the armor loss.

Fairly cheap, readily availible, and excellent stats for the level. It's no wonder that this is part of the classic lvl30 "caster uniform". If you can get a decent deal on the silk then these are a pretty good way of gaining skill while earning some gold in the AH.

An excellent cloth headpiece. Very cheap to make and serves for a long, long time. Since it's not very difficult to get your tailoring to 165, this can be a good source of money at lower levels.

I find this hood isn't bad for enchanter's, i've had it since lvl 28 and it's serving me pretty good.

The patch on 12/21 changed the level requirement for this hood to be level 28.

You can buy it in Booty Bay, at the tailoring vendor.

It's not "kewl" as in unique, but it is "mysterious" and the style works for me. It has nice stats for the level, and it's better than the other hats available in tailoring for the skill, and it doesn't require any odd ingredients.

I bought the silk off some poor sod in the AH for 30s each and already had the silk, then I went and got the pattern, gave it to a tailor and had it made for free. Now everyone thinks I'm twinked :)
