Instrumental in any pvp combat. If you need that second and a half to make a get-away.. i.e., vanish, heal, whatever!! these are it.

engineers best friend in pvp...makes bigga boom :) then vanish,stealth and ambush and prsto-your enemy is dead!

Note that though this has a larger blast radius than the Iron Grenade, its throw distance is much less. Makes it more useful to get someone off you with a stun, but less useful for interrupting a flag capture in PvP from a distance.

You can still throw it while moving.

As soon as you can start making them, you'll want to keep them as you do. Part of your artisian engineer quest involves making 20 of them.

That means --
3 * 20 Iron
3 * 20 Heavy Stone
1 * 20 Silver Contact

So 60 Iron, 60 Stone. Yea -- You could buy it at the AH, but still, if you don't have to then its all the better for you.

You need 20 of them if you want to become a Goblin Engineer. So if you are going to do that you will wont to save them for the quest.
