Wraps a single item. Items stacked are not wrappable, pretty simple.

Can be found at general goods vendors. Right-clicking the paper will allow you to then left-click an item to wrap it, turning it into a Red Ribboned Gift that is labeled <Gift from >. Right-clicking will open the gift. Soulbound items and stackable items cannot be wrapped.

You can use it to wrap up any item in your inventory as long as:

-It is not Soulbound
-It is not a Quest Item
-It is not a stackable item (even if it is not stacked)

A nice idea if you want to send a mystry gift to a friend or guildmate. Serves no real purpose it's just a bit of fun blizzard have included in the game.

I doubt it works, but does anyone know if you can wrap and send Unique items to other players? If so you would be able to collect multiple Unique items (librams, ZG dolls, etc) on a single char. It would be especially helpful for doing 2 DM libram quests at the same time, rather than going to DM, hearthing to a mailbox to pick up the other libram, then heading way back out to DM.

I've had people CoD this to me for 60g claiming to be a "gift from the Argent Dawn". Kind of an obvious scam considering the sender's name is "bbooss". Kind of useless, really.

I had this same thing happen to me today. It was for 100g though. I have no proof that it is a scam but I also have no proof that it is anything of importance. It's just wrapping paper for pete's sake. Its must be a scam.

yeah a guy named fenriaki on dalvengyr sent me one of these tryin to scam me out of 111g saying it was a present from the argent dawn

same thing happened to me 2 days ago. red ribboned wrapping paper for 222g. there was a letter with subject "letter from argent dawn". blood furnace server. sender = Briandriad. the message was some elaborate story about how i had done all of this good work for the argent dawn that i was getting some gift as long as i paid COD 222g. a very obvious scam, i hope no one falls for it. GM is being informed.

good thing I checked here before taking the gift...I thought it was legit for awhile. Mine was asking for 150g. I hope everyone who gets one of those checks before accepting...

I wish Blizz would expand this item a bit. Currently, you can't wrap stacks of items, and you can't wrap multiple items. So if you want to send someone a stack of food and a stack of potions for a present, you can't. You can only send single, unstacked items.
Good for sending someone a weapon or piece of armour maybe, but useless for potions and food (which, as my Guild's resident Alchemist and Cook, I send a lot).
