Used to set earth totems... must be in inventory to use totems.
Very easy quest at lvl 4 to get it.
First totem obtained.

You need it to be able to cast totems. There are 4 in all Earth, wind, fire and water or something very similar.

Are there certain vendors that you can purchase an earth totem from? I'm new to the game, and I think I accidentally destroyed or sold my earth totem =( if not, is there any other way I can get another earth totem?

The vendor is private server stuff... It's spawned in Org on private servers...

i haven't tested this yet, but i assume the most logical place would be the quest giver that first gave you the totem and/or trainer

I don't know if I deleted it (highly unlikely) or if it is a game bug, but here's what I've found...
When I go back to the crash site, all of my previously completed quests were mysteriously NOT completed. I simply repeated them and took the honor... and got a new earth totem. Cheap honor.

I think that I have suffered the same bug, or I accidently tossed the " earth totem tool " away to a vendor. the last thread made a suggestion to just simply repeat the quest and get a new one. How does one go about doing this? I have a lvl 12 tauren shamman. I have traveled back to the " birth place" and ran up to all of the NPC's there and could not "re-run" any quests .................

Yes... you need to carry the totems relating to the spells you want to use ( read the spell tooltip.. required *totem name* )

Great waste of space. don't know WHY they can't be quested. keyed to you as having been done, then destroyable..

Make space in your already crammed backpack, have to fit in a fire and air totem too)

So i lost my earth totem when i moved my caracter to the TBC server, and now i cant get one.
Does anyone knows where i can get a new one?
