The Shamans drop the Indurium Flakes - they are level 40 and 41. As said before don't try to solo this...

The point is, if you have to kill level 40 mobs, it shouldn't be a 35 quest. Whether or not you have friends is irrelevant.

Yeah the quest text is just a little misleading. The way it's laid out, it kind of implies that the troggs you need to kill are the ones in or around Uldamen.

Just stick with the ones by Agamond's end in the South section of the badlands and you are good.

i soled this as 41 mage no p and yes there are non elites right around the corner from the place u recieve the quest by the mountains

the drop rate has to be closer to 1 in 10 around Agmond's End.

I got about four of these from some guys in Uldaman, can't remember what they were, but they dropped. Probably better to get them with the non-elites though.

I solo'd this at 36... and i'm a priest.. so quit whining that it's a too high level quest

Although I have the Indurium quest, I've killed over a dozen of these stonevaults so far and haven't gotten a single flake drop yet. Grrrrrr!

Not sure if bug or bad luck, after getting 3 drops from 7 mobs, I stopped getting any drop at all after clearing the rest and respawns. So I relogged to try and fix it, it worked, I got 4 from 7 mobs immediately after relogging, and finished the quest with a some more kills.

If you are having drop problem it's worth a try.

The drop rates displayed on Wowhead are a lie. 45%? 47%? I had to clear the entire camp 4 times to get 10 flakes.

*Just an FYI*

I believe you need the quest to collect these. I went down to collect these for a lower level, I cleared the place and not one 'Indurium Flake' drop. They dropped quite a bit of Silk Cloth though.

The droprate is nowhere near 45 %. More like 10-20 %.
