This seems to be one of the most bought recipes of the game. It is not so easy to find it still for sale at one of the vendors in the capital city.
Of course this is the easiest way to gain cooking at the first levels when you don't want to farm boars, and it is also good to gain those first skill points in fishing.

not in silvermoon, but it is available in the undercity, which can be teleported to from silvermoon (by way of the orb of translocation at sunfury spire). definitely worth the trip. just ask a guard where the fishing trainer is, the vendor is beside him.

a great place to farm the fish is right outside silvermoon just to the south. i trained up fishing very quickly (almost 40 points in 10 minutes) and about 75% of the fish were raw brilliant smallfish. the rest being raw longjaw mudsnappers and one 10 pound mudsnapper offhand :D

Alliance also has one more trainer that gives them fishing for FREE. Its Bubba Gump or whatever down in darkshore. He gives you a fishing quest. If you tell him that you don't know how to fish he automatically trains you.

This lets you fish and cook at the same time low level.
