Currently the only way to "sprint" while in water. The Swiftthistle is a pain to get but well worth it if you want to move fast in water.

Does not stack with Hook of the Master Angler, but you can use them both at the same time, so when the pot wears off, you can still be at 25%

In fact the ingredients are 1 Empty Vial, 1 Swiftthistle and 1 Blackmouth Oil.

The blackmouth oil takes 2 blackmouth and an empty vial. Hence why this particular potion is indicated as using 2 empty vials.

Anybody know. I had this early in the game for my Alchemy, but have since changed proffessions. My Guildmate has 300 Alchemy but still can't find this recipe. Any help?

When I tried using a swim speed potion and then turning into a sea lion, I swam extremely fast, so yes that seems to work!

this is a very low level potion. oily blackmouths are very plentiful and easy to fish out of pools. Swiftthisle is a little harder to come by but but by no means difficult. Added with the fact that this potion has such a short effect and a 2 min cooldown its not practical for use except in situations where you need to escape quickly while swimming.

Been looking for some of these. A friend and I set up Passport Control at Booty Bay (Basically not letting anyone from alliance onto the boat for a solid 2 hours XD)

Swim speed potion would be handy for avoiding the wrath of Booty Bay bruisers when I run out of Vanishes. Apparently they don't take kindly to me murdering people relentlessly on their soil.

I wonder why.

Keep in mind that sometimes the potions don't work. I think once you're in combat, you can't drink the potion and zoom away.
