careful the oracle doesn't die inside one of the creative rock formations, you may not be able to loot it!
after about ten oracles one decided to run off into the rock when the pet killed it. the body couldn't be looted except for from one unexpected camera angle. sure enough, there was an oracle crystal on the body!

Low drop rate, low spawn rate, underwater... it's gonna take a while. I was an engineer hunter so I just sat around underwater with track humanoids on. That's probably the easiest you'll get it. Don't expect it to be a quick quest.

Got my Oracle Crystal off an Oracle underwater just south east of Ranazjar Isle.

Found 5-6 Oracle spawns around 38, 17, around the pillar sticking out of the water (looks like an island on your zone map).

Simple erm no.. First u have to find them, damn its hard since they're sooo rare. Then u gotta kill them and see that crap-thingie drop - too bad its an epic rare one.. coz not even in 14 kills have i gotten it.. .. lal

I've got it on my 5th :P You can find the oracels on Ranazjar Isle... There is just not many of them there :P

LOL i got it to drop on my first one, i didn't even know it was an oracle till it happened to drop asap. I was getting ready for atleast an hour farm becuase you have to just kill all the nagas to get the oracles to spawn. Hope this helps.

The Oracles share spawn points with the naga in the general area. If you don't see Oracles, kill everything else and come back.

If you have cords they are at 27,7

If not then the name of the island is ranazjar isle ... this is at the top left of the map.

I got it off an Oracle on the island. I killed 3 in the water & 2 on the island. Hope this helps.

It took 3 kills to get it to drop... the only thing that bothered me was trying to find the characters needed to kill.

like other guys are saying, i think u have to kill guys in that area for them to spawn, ive been at it for liek 30 min and only has spawned, it really sucks, have fun :)

i found crystal on fourth kill there not anywhere near that isle. Theres a tower leaning sideways in the water hanging outin 2 the air theres like at least 6 of them there hope that helps may fate smile apon you

Just create a macro with - /target Slitherblade Oracle - swim round clicking that then It'll target it, job done ;)

There near the small island west of the lighthouse all u got to do is the naga oracles but the drop is very bad.

i swam out to ranazjar, immediatly saw an oracle in the water, killed it and it dropped. pretty simple. 33 rogue

I used a greater water breathing potion (lasts an hour). I killed oracles for 55 min before the oracle dropped. not fun

Just one thing.. SPAWN POINTS.

Kill every mob you see since they are sharing spawn points. If you can't see any Oracles, that's because of other kind of Slitherblade mobs are taking their place.

I've cleared whole island for 2 times, soon 3 times. Hope it soon drops..

That sh!t does NOT have 8.06% drop chance, no way... I've grinded those goddamn Oracles for about 2 hours now, and no Crystal...

First kill drop. I had some problems finding an oracle but it was an easy quest.

There are many locations the Oracles can spawn in, for me they were on the Ranazjar isle and near it in the water and also the small island before that. From what I noted only 3 oracles can be alive at once. Took me about 4 times killing those 3, so after about 12 kills i got the crystal. The spawn locations can vary differently so you should try to figure them out and repeatedly kill them. Truly one of the most annoying quests.

Warriors: when fighting Oracles under water, do not Intercept charge them if they run and you have their 150% movement speed reduction (effectively a root) on you. You will drown in the time it takes to finish the intercept, because it was slowed down so much...
