You can make a ton of money off of these. I sell them for 2 to 2.5 gold per stack, and they sell fast. And the earthroot and deviated fish that u need to make them are not that expense to buy when you think your going to sell 20 of them for 10 gold.

These sell for around 2G each (after extention to 20 mins) on Arathor Realm (EU). Excellent little money spinner, pain in the backside going to the barrens for the Deviate fish though.

BTW be careful not to use one of these before you go into a building, or while you are inside and may need to get out fast....

If you're just looking for the strength increase, Elixir of Ogre's Strength has the same effect without the size change, with arguably more common mats (and a 1 hour duration).

This is the 19 twink's version of Elixir of Ogre's Strength, since that potion requires level 20 to use. T_T but oh well, everybody wants to look larger, right?

So killed stuff in the barrens for 4 days didn't get this... bought it in the AH for 30 gold. Total rip-off but it's very rare if your alliance.

bought recipe off ah for 45g yesterday, selling the potions for 5g per stack on ah very fast, have made 90g so far. and demonstrating the potion in the mid of IF on my horse sells some too.

I bought it at the AH for around 2g. I can officially the Novelty Product Baron on my server. I have so many recipes for funky effects. It's not ever day you see a huge Pirate walking around.

Does anyone know if this actually stacks with Winterfall Firewater? There is a post above saying it does, but perhaps the size is just overwritten by whichever one is actually bigger.

I've seen the Firewater stack with a shrink-ray backfire. I've seen pictures of World-enlarger + noggenfogger, though that's been nerfed.

I would love to see a Shrink-ray backfire + Winterfall Firewater + Elixir of Giant Growth standing toe to toe with Rag.

im a troll alchemist on the tichondrius server. back when nobody heard of it before, people would buy 5 pots for 10g...
now i cant sell em worth crap, the fad is over
if you want to make good money, go to a new server and do a char transfer. the price of these potions decrease over time.

I hunted this downafter reading the posts. And I paid 8g for it at bootyBay at current Im the only person selling it at AH and I get 3.5 g for a stack of 5 I also have 2 people that buy 2 stacks COD daily to use in BGs

But this week alone...the recipe has showed up twice more on AH.. for 20g I bought both. ( smile ) I make almost that much every 2 days selling it.. I didnt see the need to leave them on AH for someone else to buy and give me competition on price.

Effect of this potion is just hilarious. Just for fun, i made my tauren warrior an alchemist so that i could become a mountain on two legs xD
and when you mount, the mount also grows bigger. At turalyon (european realm) i believe this was 60g in alliance, and about 1,5-10g in the horde. I screwed up the other day and bought this 15, couple minutes later there was 3 of it only 1,5g!

Great business on new servers. Made over 100g on a level 20 in less than a week :D
The recipe is sold at AH very frequently for about 50s.... this is one of the most usefull ways to make money for levels 10-40.

The BEST thing I ever saw with this...

Was that Tiny Black Whelp form...Which turned the Size of a Drake...

But the other ones would be...Polymorph Turtle! That thing was HUGE!

to make the elixirof giant growth u have to be lvl 90 alchemist

i personally dont think that they make very much gold they made me enough gold to buy my items i needed but that was all the most i made with them were 20

This got changed in 2.2 its now a 20 min duration, takes the slot of a battle elixir and isn't considered magic so it cant be removed by anything other than death.

On Arathor i recently bought the recipe and am trying to sell the potions, but some reason they are not selling well at all, I am asking 60silver each on buyout and 50silver each on bid, am i over charging?

P.S I have not seen anyone else but myself selling these in the AH or anywhere else.

The Evil and Light Debuff from the "Toshley's Station Teleporter" Item (engineers only) also make you big (like the "you feel larger" debuff from the same item) and all of those debuffs stack with growth potions so you can be really REALLY big. I wonder f u can stack all 3 debuffs drink a potion and then go to AV and wait for the Buff that you randomly get that makes you big.... :P

We're talking city sized here! :D

another thing is...

The old short version would dispel any strength buff. So if you had +8 for an hour and then hit this potion you'd only have 2 min left at +8

NOW...

it stacks with any strength buff (i think, haven't tried all) except for the thing about it replacing one battle elixir.

I look for scrolls anyway, because you can put all of them on at once.

Anyway. Sorry for not researching this completely, but i was pretty happy abt the time being 20min and very happy abt it not replacing my strength scrolls

This is a glamour recipe. Only way anyone will buy it is if they have never used it or trying to make a goofy impression. Str buff isnt impressive. I had it on my previous alchemist and did not bother getting it on my present. If you want some laughs go farm it. Random drop so be ready to stay in 1 place for a long time like hunting a whelp. Seems it doesn't stack the +Str of Elixir of Ogre Strength (both +8)

You can have both buffs active. Just this will only increase size w/ Ogre active.
