good drop rate for these while farming Essence of Air, north western Silithus off Dust Stormers. Lots of Core of Elements too.

Don't be fooled by the Desolace stats, they are grossly inaccurate. Wowhead only calcualates for when the mobs do drop loot, these elementals don't drop loot 99.999% of the time.

Breath of Air x 3
Essence of Earth x 3
Pattern: Stormshroud Gloves
three greens (one of which turned into a Greater Eternal Essence ($$!)

Just got three in 20 minutes in Arathi Highlands. Was gathering Thundering Charms for the Whirlwind Axe quest and they dropped consistently.

Cleared Outer Circle Binding twice and not got a one. Plenty of Charms instead.
I am on the Quest chain to release the Princess/Kill the Giant, could that alter the loot tables?

i went ah and in the ouer binding i wipe first one nothing than wipe secon time got one oh when u triying to farm something dont pick up anything unless that is wat u looking for that way droop rate goes up for the item and no for the junk

The drop rates on this are abysmal. It took me about 30 minutes of galloping all over Desolace to get 2 of them to finally make my Gadgetzhan transporter.

That being said, it's unlikely you'll see anyone else around the area, save some low-level questing, so you'll be able to run around and pick them off.

The map above really helps. Fly into Nijel's, hit the 1 directly to your East and then head sound and just do big loops around the Kodo Graveyard.

I used to vendor these, until I decided to put a load of stuff on the Auction House - stuff I'd never auctioned before, just out of curiosity. I sold a stack of 10 Elemental Air for 4G 50S, and other sellers were charging TWICE that.

The arathi highlands ones drop them loads, did 30 mins of farming for XP and got 6

These drop plenty enough, just sell them to the vendor.

8.2.X I was in need for Elemental Air for a vanilla tailoringrecipe.

Changed Silithus to how it was before the sword hit (talk to the npc in the NE corner (chat bubble icon on map)).

Farmed Dust Stormers for about 15mins = 2x cleaning up all the said mobs I could find.
(*Note that the NW corner itself is filled with earth elementals. The needed Dust Stormers spawn on the mountainsides to the east and south of this area.

- 5 Elemental Air
- 4 Essence of Air
- 9 Breath of Wind
- 61 Inert Elemental Piece
- 1 Green BoE item

Edit: I see it has Classic on top. Just to verify; this was not done on classic wow; but on 8.2.X retail version Battle For Azeroth!
