This just dropped for me in Uldaman off of a Stonevault Oracle near the 3 Vikings cave. Seems to be pretty rare...

Brought the pattern, learnt the skill, went to make it and the item is a basic green item?

same with stormshroud shoulders i think. Pattern is Blue, item is green. It doesn't matter though. Are people really swayed by it being green in opposition to blue?

only reason y the pattern is green is cuz it is harder to get than a green pattern, n the boots r green cuz there not that hard to make =)

Roughly how much does this pattern sell for? I just got it from a chest in the armory of Scarlet Monastery. The chest was in the courtyard type thing. I want to sell it, but I do not know if the prices my UI Mods tell me are correct.

buyer beware, the pattern may be blue, but what you need to do is scroll over the recipe look at the item again. it will show the item and the mats to create it and the stats, if you look at dusky boots again it will be in green. other recipes that are blue but the items are green are:
BARBARIC BELT
COMFORTABLE LEATHER HAT
and more

All in all, a nice pattern for rogue/hunter/feral druid... Highest AGI under lvl 40, and stamina too. Mats are a little expensive tho. I'm on Shadowmoon Horde side and I couldn't find ANYONE with the pattern... so after watching the AH for 2 months it finally popped up and I snagged it for 12 gold. Message me at Flichette and I would be happy to craft.

Sold the pattern for these about a week ago on Hydraxis. I got them in Tanaris from either a pirate drop or a quest from them. Sold them for 27g to move them quick, they were gone within an hour.

In my server (Venture Co.) wasnt used shadowcat hide, till I begin making business with it. So let's try to find a greedy leatherworker, because they can make big money with this and the shadowskin gloves recipe!

IMPORTANT! I need help! I met with a lovely roleplayer char, who was buying "sets" from me. (dark leather stuffs, green leather stuffs, and dusky leather stuffs) I have made everything for him, expect that f*ckin boots. (And it is not in the AH since 7 months.) I'm thinking on going to SM armory, because two guys wrote above, they found the recipe there in a chest. Can anyone confirm this information for me?

I dont wanna go there for nothing, because I'm lvl 58 now...

A guildie found this pattern and gave it to me in exchange for some free Leatherworking services :p
It's really not worth much in reality; the mats needed are unbalanced for the reward. Unless you have a ton of money to burn, I wouldn't pay more than a gold or two, just to have the pattern.

This pattern isn't that great which is why it drives me nuts that is A. Blue and B. Really expensive if you find it at the AH -because- its blue. It shouldn't be blue! And if the pattern is blue so should the boots! But no! They're just really hard to make crappy green boots! But I want it! Becausue I'm crazy and want to know -every- leatherworking pattern possible (sans the special stuff since I took tribal leatherworking)

I have the money to buy it when it appears on the auction house but on my server its usually 50 gold and I'm unwilling to pay that just because this stupid thing is a blue. Grrr... it should have a more common drop rate simply because it's not that great of an item. If it was super great then I'd be a little more understanding. SO unfair.

I'd just like to say that this patter is driving me up the wall. I've seen it at the AH a couple of times, but always with a buyout (and bid) of 20-40 gold. I bid once. Actually I bid up to 25 gold once, but kept getting outbid. I have a leatherworking of 300 and at 58 I would NEVER use this, but it's KILLING me to not have the pattern. Stupid Blue.

I found it and won it in Scarlet Monastary. Looks like a totally random world drop.
