This is an homage to the Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark. Indy assembles the Staff of Ra and places it in the floor of a map room which reveals the location of the Ark.

Similarly, you assemble this staff and place it in the map on the floor which opens the room to Ironya.

he didnt drop it...me and a group were going through uldaman, killed revelosh, but he didnt drop it...is there a small percentage of him not dropping it? or bug?

You put the staff on the keystone in the room right after the guy that drops the shaft.

I ran a raid and got the staff it drops in parts u must conbine them in order for the door to open. you can kill random mobs for it to drop

Anyone noticed that:

tsol = lost (backwards)
and
gni'kiv = viking (backwards)

and the dwarves who have the amulet are the ones from the blizzard game 'The Lost Vikings'?

Combining the Shaft of Tsol and the Gni'kiv Medallion allows you to create the Staff of Prehistoria. You use this staff to open up the entrance to the boss monster Ironaya in Uldaman.

Start by getting the Gni'Kiv Medallion:
As you go into Uldaman, take a left. At the next doorway, take another left, and then another left as you head to the back of the room.
From there, you should see a cave. As you go in, you will see Bealog, and two other named NPC's in a small encampment. Kill them and they will drop the medallion or it will be located in a chest or a chair in the encampment.

Next, the Shaft of Tsol:
Revelosh drops the Shaft after you kill him. To get to him, just head out of Bealog's encampment area and take a left, follow that hallway into a larger room, where Revelosh resides.

Combining the Medallion and the Shaft:
Designate one person in your group needs to hold the Medallion and the Shaft. To merge these two items together, you simply right click either the Shaft or the Medallion. The player should receive an item named "The Staff of Prehistoria".

Using the Staff of Prehistoria:
The group can now continue on into the room with the green miniature town inside of it dubbed, "The Map Room". On top of one of the buildings in the miniature town, should be a place to insert the Staff. The person who holds the staff just needs to right click when the group is ready, due to the fact that inserting the staff summons Ironaya.

The Staf isent to be found. this item is the combination between the staff and the medallion.
to find the staff read the book that lays beside the box with the medallion in.

it's a little hint to "indiana jones" - as he used a staff above a little city to show where the treasure was hidden :)

Only 1 Shaft of Tsol and Gni'kiv Medallion are available per run. Furthermore, this item is consumed on use, so you must get a new one every run.
