Plated Fist of Hakoo (https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=13071) is a viable alternative to these gloves. You lose 6 Strength but gain 10 Agility and 3 Stamina. It's a tradeoff of white damage for crit (and dodge) chance. In my opinion the Plated Fist is slightly better, but Truesilver Gauntlets are by no means a bad choice.

These are fantastic gauntlets for any warrior/pally. Cheaper than Plated Fist and don't require any instance running to get, you can have any smith slap these together for relatively cheap mats. Throw 15 Strength on 'em and you have gloves you can wear until Outland.

Anybody know where you learn to make these? Is it a recipe drop or something? I don't think the blacksmith in Booty Bay can teach it to you.

I understand that its a plan and you get it for becoming an armorsmith.
Now my question is: Where do I find this female Orc? hehe. Or do the Mithrill Order just send me to her sometime?

is this "female orc" in BB? is it the balde trader near the inn thats the only female orc i can find? please help how much is it fro vendor? and does it require armoursmith? im on lightbringer (quansaria) wanting armoursmith plans pst me with wat u have thanks.

where u smelting . Where u learn how to use rangs, sword, axe, .....weapon at.

For alliance you find it from the armorsmith in Ironforge, he is standing next to the great forge.

All I have to say is that these gauntlets are better than just about anything else available at this level. They are definitely one of those items that could easily last you 10 levels, maybe even longer.

Most smiths are willing to reduce the cost based on what materials you can provide. If you can do that I highly recommend this item.

These gloves are fantastic for their level. Slap an agility enchant on em and you could keep em till valor if you wanted. Or switch to a green at around level 50 to gain some stamina for minimal strength loss. Either way, great value.
Try not to pay more than 13, 14 gold for em though. If the ones on auction are too overpriced, don't be afraid to ask some blacksmiths - competition is a good thing ^^.

Anyone know if there's an easy way to report errors? When you search this item it comes up as lvl 45. I know the graphic and everything shows 40, but if you search truesilver it comes up as 45. I'm tryin to search all lvl 40 plate and I know there are a few items that aren't listed in the search section most likely because of errors like these.

Someone mentioned you need to finish the armorsmithing quest first. What level do you need to be to get that quest? It must be higher than 30 because after choosing the armorsmith path, the armorsmith guy only says hi to me.

These are wonderfull for a warrior vut my main built them for me with my alt 45 Pal.I like them my warrior tho has these better ones but who cares so im HAPPY.

The reason that you are not getting the quest is because you must revisit the artisan blacksmith and awnser his questions, then you can get the quest

Since the BC expansion, training to make these has been available to all blacksmiths with skill of 225. For the Alliance, the trainer is Grumnus Steelshaper, the armorsmith trainer at the Great Forge (he has training for non-armorsmiths as well). The Horde trainer is Okothos Ironrager in Orgrimmar.

damn aquamariner on ah for 10 g a piece,citrines for 1g,there wasn't and guardian gloves or mats for those. Pritty hard to get these gloves.

These are a must once you hit 40.. best hands item for a warrior for a few levels until the Sunscale Gauntlets.
