The Ziggler is one of the best daggers from level 34 to 40. The Problems is that you haven't other good alternatives that you can go grind for it in this level range. The chance that Ziggler drops seems to be high, on EU-Thrall there are everyday up to 4 Ziggler in AH.

this weapon will basically multiply how fast you level if you're a grinder...the damage is amazing for the level range.

This thing procs like a son of a mule as well - it has served my rogue well up to his present level of 40. Widowmaker will replace it in 2 levels, but it will retire with honor.

Very good dagger to use as a MH for the brief level gap in the mid to late 30s until the Vanquisher's Sword & Sword of Omen/Serenity combo becomes available through questing in Razorfen Downs & Scarlet Monestary.

However, it is a rare BOE, so don't go out of your way hunting for it unless you see it as a steal on the Auction House like I did with my lowbie rogue. The weapon procs fairly frequently and sports amazing dps in comparison to other cutlery available around this item level. Definitely a recommended weapon to use if you prefer to level temporarily with daggers.

I bought it at the AH seeing it was one of the only daggers with good dps at this lvl. It procs a lot but the proc sucks. Looks cool.

i found it on cold eye basilisk in STV.
Sold on Auctiong house for 45 gold on whisperwind.
also found staff of jordan(epic staff level 35)
and cold basilisk eye(trinket level 35)

89G? anyone who pay that amount for this is an idiot.. Everything seems overpriced like hell on most servers. I put in a bid of 8G for this yesterday.don't know if i got it yet.. but still.. 89 G is a bit WAY to much..so is 20 actually,, but still..

Who in the right mind would pay that much at such a level, and not keep the money for his mount......?

My auctioneer add on says most of them sell at around 12g...

I do believe the title of this dagger is odd, don't you? But I imagine few of you have read the credits for WoW and therefore aren't aware of the fact that the dagger is named after a Blizzard employee. Oh, Blizzard, your humor never ceases to amaze!

dude, you don't need this dagger. It really isnt that great, but it looks really cool.

Here are some other options for a dagger. In RFK there is the Swinetusk Shank. Next door is Razorfen Downs, and the boss there drops the coldrage dagger. I just got it two days ago on my first run through! Also, you can go to Arathi Highlands and do the quest: Call to Arms.
There you can get the Silent Hunter, an ok dagger that has +7 agility, 23 dps (not too bad) and its a quest reward, so with a little help you could get it in the early 30s level range. Im still a level 37 rogue, so Im using the silent hunter as my dagger until I level up to 39, and then I'll swith to the coldrage dagger.

my unded twink lvl39 has this baby and cold ridge dagger i go insane with the procs on both enchanted them with battle master so virtualy impossible for 13 alliance 2 take me down even if the are twink lol(ambush crit of 2.1-2.4k and back satb crit of 500-1k damg lol)

Believe it or not, I pickpocket'd the 2nd mob I came across in SM-Library, and I got a warn jamblebox (something similar to this, it's not this exact name) and when I picked the lock on it, this was the dagger I got out. I actually already had one equipped but I'm short on gold anyways so it's nice to be able to put this on the AH.

I was just farming murk threshers in dustwallow bay, to upgrade my skinning, i killed a couple and on my 5th or 6th kill i got it, i was happy, just because i found a rare blue item.I used it untill i was lvl 37, when i then found a dazzling longsword off a scalding whelp, it was my 1st epic and i used it a while.

ok so i was anoyed that morning because my router wouldn't connect until 12 but s soon as i get on my lvl 54 hunter i went straight to stv to grind 1h sword skill and i went to the beach where the "message in a bottle" quest begins and i the very first kill of the day (a pirate) dropped it! sold 100g on the alliance AH on bronze dragon flight

Duel-wielding these still at 46. The nature damage seems to proc at least once a fight on each blade.

Nice dagger if you can get one.

I would not waste the time or cash reserves to get one of these.

At the level 34, you've got the hypnotic blade of an offhand that is readily available and free. You want to main hand the SM dagger, and then offhand hypnotic... total cost: $0.

So, unless this weapon falls into your lap, you shouldn't drop the median 45 gold to pick it up. A doan run is just 20 minutes long with a 60 helping you, and the hypnotic drops 50% of the time. Do yourself a favor and get that over this.

I found this in a chest near the bell you have to ring to bring out the spiders in Razorfen Downs. I was thinking of puting it up at the auctionhouse for 8g. I am a level 39 Hunter at the moment of this post and I have Vanquisher's Sword in my main hand and Sword of Serenity in my off.

Two of us killed a 40 level Elder Mistville gorilla in STV last night and it dropped. We had killed about 50 and it was the last one, closest to the road that we might have even by passed, since we didnt need it! Wonders never cease...he won the roll...bummer...lol

I just visited the Badlands to get the Flight Path n picked up 2 Quests to get stones from Lesser Rock Elementals, just East of Kargath and before Lotwil Veriatus.
It dropped on the 4th kill :}

Today us 3pals, Lvl 37 Hunter, lvl 34 Rouge, lvl 35 Warlock (me) spent quite a bit of time farming Gnomeregan for Toxic Revenger with no luck... gave up, went offline.. Before i left, ichecked the AH and whaddaya know :D This was up for 5g Bo, got it for my Rouge pal, hope, hell like it ^^

Sorry, I have sm on the brain cuzive been there so much lately. I got mine in rfd. Can't wait till my rogue can use it. 3 more lvls. I saw it for 20g buy out on boulderfist horde side i beleive.

Doesn't matter where anyone gets it from. The chances of someone getting it in the same exact place are incredibly low. Don't farm for this stuff you'll go crazy. Check the AH or hope to get lucky.

level 31 pally in arathi highlands killed a 39 rumbling exile and this dropped!...pallys are amazing early on. just used divine favor continuously, along with concedration aura and illumination and by buffs. the battle was long and annoying, nothing i couldnt hand just 7 mins of repetitive heal..buff nonsense.

looted from a chest in arathi; BOE blues are random world drops, and as such very low % chance. No point at all farming for this, wait for it at a good price on the AH. Of course you'll never see BOE blues for a good price on the AH though.

About "The Diggler" from Diablo 2, as that was a unique Dirk weapon, I think it was a joke sort of thing about Dirk Diggler. You know how Blizz likes to throw those references in every once in a while.
Though, of its relation with this item, I have no idea.

We pulled it off the big skeleton guy (the one on the pile of bones with all the skeletons dancing) in Razorfen Downs. It's a freakin awesome dagger, but at 34 guildies took me to SM and the Hypnotic Blade dropped, and I expect to get the dagger for In the Name of the Light.

Hypnotic Blade is great for applying poisons cuz of its 1.4 speed, but this is better for backstab/ambush IMO because of the base damage. Tough choice though; Hypnotic Blade has all that Int :P

4 of these on my server, going for 20-30G each. OK dagger, I saw one 10G and gave it +3 wep damage and gave to a 33 Rogue friend.
