This elixir produces one of several random effects when drunk, including (but possibly not limited too):
- Slowfall for two minutes
- Shrinking you for 30 minutes
- Turning you into a skeleton form for 30 minutes (you can still attack or cast spells, but you can't mount or ride a gryphon/wyvern)

Note that you *can* get yourself mounted as a skeleton by eating a Savory Deviate Delight (https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=6657) after you have been skeletonized, mounting, and then right-clicking the SDD buff to remove it.

Fun Fact: The Noggenfrogger gives you a float ability that lets you glide in the air for a limited amount of time, this lets you do some incredible stuff on live servers. You can get to many secret places that are otherwise impossible to get to, places like Dancing Troll Island.

The mini-me might help you from being easily detected, but for classes like mages, the frost nova/arcane explosion animation decreases in size as well. -May fool your AoE range-

As of 2.0.3 the noggenfogger elixir has been nerfed from 0 to 2 minute cooldown.
They have also nerfed "You feel light..." from 2 minute duration to 15 second duration.

The skeleton buff and the small buff can be stacked making you a small skeleton (in a screen shot i posted) and also its quite fun to use any kind of mount (or aspect of the Cheetah/Pack) while small, the animation seems like you are going faster than you really are

I made a game out of Noggenfoggen Elixirs called "Noggenfoggen Russian Roulette if you'd like to see. I was doing this for a few days before I quit WoW. Hopefully someone here will enjoy it and put together their own game on their server :)

The rules are basically everyone gets together and jumps off of TB and we all use a noggenfoggen elixir at the last moment to see who wins! If you don't get slowfall, you die! If you do it right there should be no res timer, and if you do it where I am in the video, when you release you'll be within resurrection range instantly (and make sure you take off your armor like we did).

I believe the shrinking buff can stack with other cosmetic changes. I came upon a gnome in Tanaris that was shrunken, then turned itself into a pirate. The result was that it was a very tiny pirate.

In patch 2.3.0 the cooldown will be removed, but the shrink effect will not stack any longer.

You can still ride a gryphon taxi when "You feel smaller...", best part is that the gryphon also shrinks. Appeared that the smaller gryphon flew lower than typical.

Also a very good helper in completing https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/search=Dragonmaw+Race (the dragonmaw races) since it makes you smaller. You will get a more wide view of your screen & and possibly it also makes it harder for the guys you are racing against to hit you. If this is true, make sure you make yourself small but not a skeleton and then do these races, naked as always ofc.

I am a Tauren and I use this in Dungeons, the effect seems to always be the skeleton costume while I'm in a dungeon. This helps me a lot to see what's going on, it shrinks you down to a more manageable size with the tight camera angles.

So testing iwth items, I noticed something. Noggenfogger makes you tiny, noggenfogger and winterspring firewater makes you medium-sized (smaller than usual, larger than noggenfogger alone), neither is normal, and firewater is larger than normal. Kinda fun to use both together to get that fourth size. ;)

This potion is particularly useful in Battlegrounds where there are dispellers around such as Hunters, Priests and Shamans, to a lesser extent Mages also.

Consuming this potion, as it is a "magic effect" can lower the chances of your more beneficial buffs being removed and this removed instead. It might not buy you much time, but just think if you're a Paladin in your Divine Shield/Mage in Ice Block and a Priest uses Mass Dispel on you, this magic debuff might just save you.

As a Warrior I have these on me at all times because if I am in a Battleground with a Paladin healing me granting me Blessing of Freedom, this magic debuff can prevent a dispeller taking/stealing it from me.

This is a (male) human mage's best friend.
Every time I run out I head down to Gadgetzan and buy another 300-400 of these.

I've leveled a UD mage to 70 besides my human mage but I still play my human more so this thing really makes casting bearable. Whoever made male human casting animations should be tar and feathered.

Go to your interface options and select max camera distance to high, get the shrink buff, get drunk and world enlarger (if you don't have it it's fine) and see how small you get!

Use this to get small, then mount up on your netherdrake. Gonna look like it's going extremely fast because it looks so much smaller than it really is.

The effect is cut down to 10-min post 2.4.1 :( Sad but true... slow fall is down to 12 sec, and you can't mount or take a gryphon while you have it...

On Noggenfogger Elixir it says the use is: Drink Me. and for Savory Deviate Delight its: Eat Me.

I think this is refering to Alice in Wonderland were the cookie has Eat Me on it and it makes her bigger and the milk has Drink Me on it and turns her back to normal.

There's a bug that when you are in Old Hillsbrad and drink this turning into a skeleton and cast ghost wolf, you'll be in human form but with the ghost wolf buff

Also on my server, if you are mounted while in skeletal form, you WILL unmmount as you are turning back to normal form

I havent experimented just to see what stacks with what, but I have been able to have the Skeletal form AND be small at the same time. So you get this little gnome size skeleton running around! Very funny. As a bonus to being small size, your mount will be small too, and all the girls will say "ooohh, its sooo cute!" Seriously.

Try getting the fall slow and jump into Un'goro.
You'll fall slowly and you won't take a grain of damage! It's incredible! :D

You can still use this to get to the if airport, as of 1.10. If you're exiting IF, make an immediately left and follow that around until you get to the cliff. Aim for the 3 trees (2 giant, 1 small) that are in a little valley slope. Drink noggenfogger until you get slow fall and run and jump. I think you'll need some kind of speed increase for this, but seeing as swiftness potion and noggenfogger are on the same cooldown timer, and slow fall only lasts as long as that timer, you'll probably have to use sprint as a rogue or speed increase trinket.

I'm not sure if it works for all races yet but drinking these until you turn into a skeleton then eat a Savory Deviate Delight will turn you into a female Pirate or ninja.

Then you can also mount up and cancel the ninja/pirate and be a mounted skeleton.

Blizz nerfed the control of use as well...
so you don't have 100% chance to get slowfall if you use it while falling - tried to jump into ungoro - on half a way down i drank the potion and it just gave me "you feel smaller" or whatever buff.

Anyone knows some really reliable slow fall method?

i figure this out after many tests,

Slowfall 15 seconds: 45% chance to happen

Skeleton form: 35%

Small person: 20%

those are pretty acuarte because i ate 100 and about those nuumbers came up, then i did it 4 more times and the same/ almost the same numbers came up.

This sucks out of 30 drinks i got shrink twice and slow fall 4 times the rest i was a skeleton.

Imho they really need to nerf the rate of the skelleton, it is the worst and most broken trasformation ever. Laugh emote sound is missing, cannot mount whilst in the form and your still using your own jokes and flirts (not undead) yet you do the undead male dance.
Hopefully the 2min Cd gets nerfed to 30secs otherwise I don't waste my time on this anymore.

If they actually addressed the % on the skeletion and allowed you to mount in that form issue I'd be tempted to buy more.

Just a thought, is it possible to spam this stuff and have it be the buff that is dispelled whenever you get are getting dispelled? (i.e Getting raped by Arcane Shot only to have it dispel this buff, and protecting the buff you previous applied (PW:S) ?) Sorry if I worded it badly.

something really funny just happened to me with this. I just jumped from Tanaris to Un'goro crater and used the elixer in the air in hope it would make me fall slow, instead, i turned into a skeleton. then, i SSed and wanted to be a skeleton or something, and it gives me slowfall. thanks a lot blizz

I will state here and now...there is only a 3 second cooldown on the elixir...

And...

the shrink stacks with the transporter malfunction debuff that engineers get with their teleporters...

Specifically...I'm shrunk from noggenfogger, and I have Transporter Malfunction: You feel somehow smaller...

Noggenfogger elixir you feel smaller affect and flying from place to place on a gryphon makes you ride a baby gryphon/hippogryph hilarius and when it ends the gryphon/hippogryph gets a major growth spirt along with you hilarius!

I know you can't mount while you are a skeleton, and I honestly forgot to try if you are shrunk, but I do know you can ride a flying mount when shrunk! You get a really small Gryphon.

I just drank this with my shaman and got the standard skeleton effect. While apparently you can't mount when a skeleton (according to everyone on here), you can go into ghost wolf. The result? You retain the appearance of a skeleton while gaining the speed boost (and the inability to perform certain actions) of ghost wolf.

Pretty sweet to see a speedy skeleton running around Tanaris. :)

Turned me into a skeleton. It's a play thing, nothing more. It's on the same timer as all the other alchemists' potions, so definaty not something you would use during battle or anything.

2 minute cool down, btw, too.

THEY NERFED IT!

Now, you can still become tiny or a skelly for 10 minutes...but the cooldown is now 2 minutes! And slow-fall lasts only 12 seconds!

I tried using these on several occasions, and i got no "skeleton form" or "shrink" or "slowfall" buff. nothing changed, i didnt look different. just a 30 or 60 second timer was palced in my buff window called "noggens elixir " or something.. what am i doing wrong? or is this drink completely nerfed?

I used World Enlarger and Noggenfogger Elixir and I was about 1% of normal size lol. And funny is that enchant efects are not smaller, so I was one small runing fire (because of Fiery Weapon enchant and Skullflame Shield) :)). Taurens in Taranis were pretty entertained :).

This is really annoying, out of ten elixirs, I've had the skeleton effect six times, the light as a feather effect three times, and the shrink only once.

Use Worldenarger and this and duel someone dont attack though and make sure they have Shrink ray then theres something to look at well not really my cat ate me all i saw was a yellow flame dot

I did what Sales's ddi with thechanging forms, and he's right, you stay as a skeleton. Which I find awsome for a druid! Perfect for duels. What are you? Bear form? Cat? Moonkin? I've got to try it with the water form though.

It didn't shrink me. When I drank it, I would float down when I fell instead of falling regularly. I could jump from TB without taking any damage.

Maybe it's different for different races. I'm a Tauren, so who knows.

my fav. thing to do is in lvl 60 bg's is to drink it and if i get the shrinking one just go in cat form and guys cant even see me.. lol

Classic 1.13

You can get 3 buff from this "Slow Fall" that last 2 mins; "Skeleton" which lasts 10 mins and allows underwater breathing; and "Shrink" which makes you small that lasts for 10 mins. Pretty fun, and great for dungeons or raids. Keep in mind you cannot mount while turned into skeleton form.

It's a lengthy quest chain but worth it. 100% FYI it's about 1 G per stack of elixer and the potion itself has no cooldown other than the GCD time.
