The cave thing, there IS a cave to the right of Zul'Gurub, I've only seen it with modelviewer but it is a cave with a little road that leads to nowhere as far as I remember.

Can't understand how to get there with the latest change to wallwalking, though.

Found a cave with a path leading to no where by using wall jumping to get there on a live server. My coords were 56,39. The cave was like an ogre cave. Really hard to get to and the mount seller was not there so im gonna camp this place for a while...

outside of tanaris, where the mounts stand, theres sometimes a "Riding Tiger" that might be the model of this tiger
i took screenshots but i dunno how to put them up

I think the Vendor only shows up at 9 PM once per month....

looked at the video on youtube carefully, so i decided to look up some of the names you can make out.

1: search the vendors name in alla and it directs you to Lelanai, the regular ally mount vendor in Darnassus.

2: if you check the armory, for the name of the gnome char that buys the mount in the video, you will notice that no char by that name exists.

3: also using the armory, look for the guild name, which is clearly written at the end of the video, with FTW! after it. it also doesnt exist on the armory

this leads me to believe that this is either a hoax, (a good one, as i took the time to look into it more, lol) or this does exist, but on a private server somewhere, and not in the live game itself.

i also talked to a GM that had this to say "I can neither confirm or deny the existence of this item in-game"

Will be included again in Patch 1.7

It's a drop in Zul Gurub afaik! Like the Epic Mount of the Baron.
Every race are able to ride it. Taurens too ^^

Does it still work to get to this location (Marsh 6'th 2008) i tried to day but I couldnt come up on the first cliff where to use the wall jump technice. Reply if it do work please or contact me in game.

so today i decided to go there, location of Bengal Tiger Mount (doesnt exist) shows u how to get there kinda hard, anyways there was a wall i couldnt get up cause of 2.4 changes but i found another wall that wasnt so hard to climb anyways there was a cave, some world trees and two purple tree's that don't exist anywhere else. anyways have fun going there btw the npc wasnt there and porb will never be again have fun in your travels.

I was wondering how you get the bengal tiger/leapord mount. I went around STV and never found a cave or anything, I know how to wall walk after they "fixed" it. So that is no problem. Any help is appreciated, send info to jon_z_99problems(at)yahoo.com
By the way, this is NOT the ZG tiger. this is something completely different.

so today i thought i might as well try to get there for fun, i watched a video on youtube called "location of Bengal Tiger Mount (doesnt exist)" the video shows how to get there and everything the only probelm i found was i couldnt get up one of the walls cause of the change in 2.4 not being able to wall climb well. so i found another way but its still kinda hard. i wouldnt recomend trying if you havent climbed walls b4 in wow its hard after 2.4. i used the jumping side to side technique works the best i find. i didnt find the npc but i found a water fall some world trees and purple trees.... the purple tree's i think there where two and i havent seen them anywhere else kinda cool. anyways keep trying guys its realy cool when you get there =).

Noticed after the new patch they changed the white riding tiger outside of gadgetzan to an Orange Riding Tiger, reference to the upcoming 'Bengal Tiger Mount'? I hope so.

As an elite explorer I can confirm, there is a way but since they fixed walljumping in 2.4 it is obviously impossible to use the same route used in various instructional videos. Real explorers - much like real magicians - don't reveal their tricks in youtube videos. Why? Because they will get fixed and doing it won't be possible anymore.

As of today, June 18th 2008, there is no vendor in the cave. I have kept my char there for quite some time now but rarely logged in to check the situation. As much as I do want to get this awesome mount - being horde player with little chance of ever acquiring any cat mount - I'm starting to believe the videos and rumours all only concern private servers or some ancient version of WoW (pre-TBC to say the least). Although I would also like to think Blizz would have kept the vendor having it only spawn rarely to reward the best of explorers (which is especially true for 2.4 WoW) that manage to get there and is the reason the GM's can't deny or confirm the existance of the mount.

If, after having read all of this some of you think that they want to give it a shot, I could supply the instructions on how to get there in order to get more people camping there and checking for vendor and possible spawn time. This cave is located on the southeastern area of STV, east from Ruins of Zul'Mamwe, that looking at the map is covered with mountains as of now. There is some content that was obviously planned but never finished which is what exploring is all about. My method requires an epic mount, riding crop (havent tried without though) and basic exloring skills. My chars are on Kor'gall realm.

i am currently in the cave on the server Lightbringer my name is Naldonzo if any 1 wants to msg me... no NPC yet but im planning on chilling here and logging on every 20 minutes or so while i play an alt so hopefully its not just a random cave in the middle of the mountains ur not supposed to be in!

The item does exist. Playing around on my private server (2.4) and a GM handbook, I was able to create the item in my inventory. As for the vendor, I have not been able to find anything out...and I really don't feel like digging through every NPC to find the one.

The item, however, is unusable since blizzard redid the mount system. One of the requirements is that you have "Tiger Riding (1)", along with being one of the 8 original races, and at least level 40. I'm assuming tiger riding is the first thing you trained to be able to ride the 60% riding sabers as a night elf.
