Is needed for Gift of Arthas which requires (240) Alchemy which is quite useful in PVP against Warlocks and Priests.

Arthas' Tears is also needed for the Paladin Epic Mount quest, 10 of them to be exact.

jus got one of these off of a cursed sycamore lvl 45 in feralas down by the frayfeather's been there for 2 hrs an got it

Easy as pie.....

From Light hope Chapel go to all the PvP towers except the one by Strat....

I ran that path for about 1 hour and found around 2 stacks plus other herbs.

I find this to be a good route plus you can pick up some PvP objectives.

I find them in Felwood. A stack of three goes for 3g on my server! i dont think thats that bad.

If you are able to run Razorfen downs easily, the best way to get this item is to run straight to the big skeleton boss guy whos dancing with all his small skeleton buddies. Kill them all. They drop one Arthas' Tears each and are REALLY easy to kill

Alliance need it for part of their Epic Mount quest - so you might be able to sell it at AH in gadg.

Excuse me, useless? Gift of Arthas is a nice add when you'r soloing and/or geting constantly attacked. Especially if they'r using shadow aswell. For example, in priests epic quest you are on a constant bombing from multible, jet not so high HP mobs, and alone. Sure it's welcomed dmg add and costs you almost nothing.

And even if you ignore the little damage increase it does to annoying little swarms of whatever - completely understandable. But the potion is good simply because of the resistance % it gives you over time. And may I add, it is the only "real" resistance potion; that adds to you'r % to resist in big, long fights! Not like Magic Resistance Potion, that works only for 3 min and is on the same 2min timer with HP/mana/other more critical pots - which for example in Lucifron fights is a very bad thing. Wether you'r in the front line or back, extra 10% basically free resistance with no cooldown..... useless? heh No way! =P

Though, not saying this potion couldn't use a little boost up, or that Arthas' Tears shouldn't have more overall usage in alchemy. Signing that one.

Dear lord, isn't there any of this herb in level 43 druid friendly areas? I don't wanna have to go to un'goro and get my guts spilled 10 times to sunday just for 1 or 2 lousy herbs :/. Any advice? yes no?

This herb is easily found in western plaguelands, not sure about eastern...

Go to razorfen down if you want this herb at level 43.

The herb is found in epg/wpg mainly, but there are tons of it in Felwood as well. Going there, provided that you are herbalist, will be a better option for farming herbs as there are much of:

Gromsblood
Mountain Silversage
Plaguebloom

Go in circles near the corrupted lake and as soon as you finish the circle they will start respawning again. I ended with full bags today after an hour farming.

This herb could and should be more useful...

The Shadow prot is nice from the Gift of Arthas Pot, but that isn't enough to justify moving it in the AH. On gilneas this doesn't sell, At all. I have 100 in my bank and I refuse to pick it till something better, potion wise, comes along.

Who knows, maybe with the expansion they will add on some more pots that can use this and the firebloom as well. At least something that is more useful.

As stated above, use this on your tanks in Raids, and it is well worth it. Make it a habit.

awesome pot, very awesome indeed. i MT for my guild; it ups ur total raid dps by a ton, ya it may be only + 8 for each person in the raid but thats still + 8 more than they had. its cheap and easy, hey! like your mom! oh snap! hahaha anyways i suggest getting theses for ur primary MT, i toss um up right b4 bosses and hell the + 10 SR is always nice ^^

I have found a couple of these items on the Dewgatherer Thistlebark(?)

The same mobs you have to kill for the 'The Thirsty Goblin' quest.

im a lvl 44 druid.. tank spec'd and this potion is GREAT for doing instances since it procs on every single thing thats attacking me in like 5-10 secs... +8 dmg is NICE

Um yeah, this is useless.

Detect Undead is useless and Gift of Athras is useless at higher levels, which is when you get to make this.

Probably one of Blizzard's ideas that went nowhere, like Purgation Isle and Ravenholdt.

Should have done something like Improved Shadow Oil or something along those lines. Right now all these herbs do is take up slot space and I can't give them away on the AH.

At Skulk rock located in the Hinterlands, There are some Green Sludges and Jade Oozes that drop scum covered bags. Inside these bags are random potions, herbs, and usually some silver. So far Inside the scum covered bags I have attained 2 of Arthas' Tears as the random herb. I hope this is usefull to those looking for the drop! I have only been killing them for around 10-12 minutes, so I'm assuming that's better than killing that mob in Maraudon for hours!

I need 10 of these for my Paladin Epic Mount quest. I have been killing Constrictor Vines in Maraudon in Desolace for hours trying to get a drop. Does anyone have a spot or a mob that they have received a fair amount of drops? I've only been able to get a few from the AH.
