This was confusing me a bit, so I'll write a quick guide.

An engineer (gnomish) learns the "plans" from the gnomish engineering trainer (Booty Bay for Horde, IF for alliance).

You than give these plans to a blacksmith, who can than make the tubes.

When you drop a mythril cylinder drom Tinkerer Gizlock in Maraudon, or you're really lucly, or just you wasted for a stupid cylinder your chance to drop an item with a crazy drop rate.

I found an engineer so desperate for one of these that he gave me the plans AND gave me 10 gold to make him some (his mats, too!) These might actually be a money maker for smiths!

i have been looking for months for this for me dragonling it's just typical i have all the expensive mats but require the stuff "for goblin enginners" it just sucks that i can't find them anyway. why the hell should enginner's have to cope with waiting on AH to pay a fortune for somthing they should be able to make

p.s: any horde on "defios bortherhood" with any of those mats (goblin rocket fuel, inlaid mithril cylinder) feel free to contact one of my char's i will pay but not much thought

the sell in the ah for 5 to 8 gold apiece. if you are a blcksmith and can make them they are a good source of making gold.

Guys, this is not hard.

You learn how to make the plans from the trainer.

You buy the mats for the plans from the vendor. Cost: 25 silver.

You make the plans.

You announce on the trade channel. "Need blacksmith level 200+. Free plans!"

When somebody answers, you give him the plans and 5 mith, 1 gold bar and 1 truesilver per cylinder you need.

They are use by engineers, to make trinkets. I need then. I'm on Shattered hand realm. if there is any blacksmith that can makes this item, PLease please contact me. I will provide mats

This item is created by Blacksmiths who learn it from Plans: Inlaid Mithril Cylinder, but the item is only used by Engineering recipes. An Engineer can make the plan so a Blacksmith can learn how to make this item, but can't make the item themselves.

**CAVEAT**

You must learn & make this *recipe* on an Engineer, who then gives it to a Blacksmith so the Blacksmith can make the *item* inlaid mithril cylinder.
